Yesterday sounded so positive.... and so far this morning does too - you've been much more productive than me! Good luck with the rest of the jobs, but take it gently if you're tired.Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Thanks madvix! You're right about the productivity, I must remember that. I've just been getting the recycling out of the way, saw my helpful neighbour, who proceeded to help again, bashing stuff down into the bin so I could put more in
I'm stopping now for a while, having something to eat and relax.

Aw, thank you beanie! I do feel a bit of a sense of urgency - all of this is all catch up from when I could do so little. I'm not exactly living in a slum, far from it
but parts of this house are starting to look like a renovation project. When I'm home, I aim to keep up to date with the present day, and also spend a couple of hours catching up on the backlog, whether thats in the garden or the paperwork or the cleaning.
And I want to plant the garden up next year, rather than just battling the weeds, and I want to go out and have a ball on my terms, not just whatever turns up. I had to put my life on hold for a long time, and I'm not going to waste the health I've mostly regained :kisses3: I'm very lucky that I had a condition that stabilised and then got a lot better - I'm very well aware that many people don't, yourself included :kisses3:
Right, the cards I've written have been posted, I have a lovely hot cuppa tea, the hot water's heating up, I'm taking the afternoon off :beer:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
