That's not too bad, CBC - you'd only have got your July statement in August sometimes, after all - max, it's two months. Cut yourself some slack!
I've paid my French tax :j
And what *I* moan about is systems changing constantlythe French are just about to do that with their Taxe Fonciere - I know the payment for this year can be paid in the same way, but I've no idea what to do for future years. Ah well, its 11 months away that I need to worry about it
or possibly 3, since there's now something about it being paid monthly  either way, I don't care for *this* particular week, I just need to get clear for this week.
Ta-da:
- asked sister to bring the phone charger I left behind.
- emailed niece some links.
- did the online check in for sister and me for this Sunday.
- bought currency.
- paid French tax.
- gardening yesterday and today adds up to a single session(finished for now).
But the to-do list isn't getting any shorteras I keep remembering things to add on. Still 13 left, although I've done 6 today, and 5 yesterday! So the full list isn't 19, it was 24
.
Aha ... even with the additions, I've done 11/24, and I still have 3 days left. Boogie on.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Thanks beanie!
Lot of post has built up ... by Friday, that'll be a job on its own.
Totals now become 11/25.
Still, to do the check in and the income tax on the same day is mega :j2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Ug, not done anything today apart from SB, I really feel a bit sick
And it's one of those grey days outside, plus drizzle. Not a good start! So its a really slow day today - I'm dreading the flight Sunday, I'm dreading how *long* Sunday will be. The only good thing is that if I'm out for the count, my sister will have the rellies to go round with, instead of being on her own.
Bit more lolling about, then I'll do the first job, which is just a bit of scanning (so I can send off the house sale contract to the conveyancer, thats still in the background).2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Thanks beanie! I kept right on lolling about until about 1pm, when I gradually started to scan the few documents I needed to scan, then gathered myself together to go to the taxi office in person to book a taxi for Sunday morning (4.45 ... _pale_ there are no trains) and collect the currency. Pootled gently back here, decided to take it easy, though I may do the easiest job on my list, "cut my fringe"
even I could cope with doing that

I would be frightened to cut my fringe.
It would be very squint :eek:I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. KC I hope that you are feeling brighter today. Have a great holiday. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0

It would be very squint
I'm always cutting mine, if I didn't it would be like peering through a curtain:eek:. My hair grows so quickly and I can't afford to keep going to the hairdresser's for a trim anyway so wouldn't dream of going just to have a bit chopped off the fringe. I don't mind the rest of the 'style' growing a bit long between trims but I really need to keep my fringe manageable. It's not hard to do, beanie, you'd soon get the hang of it. Have a go:beer:
KC, I hope you're feeling better now. Nothing worse than feeling ill just before a holiday. Maybe it's anxiety about the travel that has made you physically ill. Easy to say but try not to worry. You've achieved so much this past year, I'm full of admiration for everything that you've taken in your stride:A. Just see this as one more achievement to add to your growing list:beer:0 -

Never mind. I slept a teeny bit better, partly cos I was exhausted. Slightly worried that the taxi service hasn't sent a confirmatory text as I was told they would, so thats something to check out today. For the rest, it'll be a ta-da list, for sure :rotfl: once I've checked out mse2023: the year I get to buy a car0
