Just popped back to read all the posts since this morning while the dinner cooks. What a busy lot we are! Well actually most of you do much more than me.
Just had to tell you - I had the shock of my life when I went into my kitchen just now. DS1 was walking off with a plate of HM bread and butter and DS2 was cutting himself 2 thick slices. Not so strange you think?? It was WHOLEMEAL. Have I finally won them over, do you think? Now to work on the cat. :rolleyes:AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £110.19/ £250

Hello everyone :hello:
I fell off the MS wagon a few months ago and haven't been on here for a while. Now I come crawling back with more debt and my tail between my legs suitably ashamed of myself and determined to do better this time. :embarasse
I found it so helpful talking to you all before, so you'll be hearing much more from me now - I hope you don't mind! I probably won't be back on this evening so ta ta for now!:oOctober grocery challenge(started 17/10/07):

Well, Red Ruby - what can I say!!!!!!!!! Loft actually a bit cramped and floor very hard! Let's just keep to Ken and Barbie and their antics!!!!!!!!!!!!
It actually was a bit emotional today when I kept saying to DH do you remember, this or that! No he didn't but he did say he thought it great I did and said keep what you feel you need to.

Hi!
A busy day here today. After walking the girls and my friend's kids to school I went to help at the church's drop-in.
Then after lunch I gave the house a good clean, dust, mop, hoover etc. I made a lamb stew/hotpot in the sc as we had to go to DD1's parent's evening, which went really well. I also made a huge pile of banana/choc chip muffins as DD2's friends are coming over tomorrow for tea and I made a huge pan of leek and potato soup as we're going to my MIL's on Saturday.
I'm hoping to go shopping in town tomorrow so I've tried to get everything done today. After the girls are in bed I'm going to sort through all of their bday/xmas presents that I've bought over the year.
I'm in work on Thursday and Friday and then we finish for half-term!
Hope everyone has had a good day!0 -
Sorry still not caught up today. Feeling rather tired but it is a nice tired rather than that awful tired and not wanting to get up tomorrow.
Just had a sweep of the fish tank as it is producing some awful green stuff, despite pump working well.
I might start tackling garden tomorrow. Just a wee bit. Forecast good for us up here in Scotland.
Still no word from hospital re follow-up re last Tuesday night. Booked blood tests with nurse but doctor is not now available for 3 weeks. Made appointment as I would rather not speak to someone else - we have 3 new doctors in practice so would rather speak to someone who knows my medical history.
Still got faint blood stains on carpet - any tips?

Evening all,
Had a busy day...went to Maternity hospital with Japanese friend who is due to have baby on 24th December....she lives almost 100m away as she works there, but I have persuaded her to come to us a couple of weeks before baby is due and have it in Dublin...she would be with us for Christmas anyway so easier this way. We then visited a friend of hers and didn't get home until after 6pm...nothing to eat except the sandwiches she had to have from first garage we saw....so had last night's leftover noodles and am feeling so tired now...not moving from this house to-morrow!
Vastsarah...good on you, that move took courage and seems to me to be the right thing to do.
Pooky...hope that you are able to take the house...huge increase I know but seems like huge rise in standard of house too.
Stefejb...make the most of your rest...haven't seen any Dutch plates to-day but will watch out.
Hugs to the non-sleepers and those with on going problems of one kind or another
Please come back soon JackieO, Smoky, Snowy and all those who aren't currently posting
