Afternoon all,
I haven't had time to read through todays posts yet, will do that in a bit.
I am feeling so much better than i did at the weekend just a bit bruised from all the coughing but so much more full of energy.
About to make hm chilli with nachos for dinner tonight, have cleaned the floors and done 3 loads of washing, and shhhhh dont tell anyone but have enjoyed doing the housework....dont worry im sure it will pass.
Little girly bump has found her feet :T Instead of the wriggling movements i have felt for the last few weeks she now boots me in the tummy :rotfl: It started last night and she hasnt stopped since. I'm over the moon and find this the best stage of pregnancy. Sickness has passed, energy has returned and still no bump to lug around, if only it would stay that way.
Hope all is well will catch up later, the washer has just finished so i need to get this load out to dry.
Leigh xxI will save my tesco £1 savings stamps this year! .......so far = £50 (full card#1)
Card #2 £6. I will not be skint at Chistmas this year!
Total £560 -
Morning all..........(((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))) if you need one....
Just a quickie for now, have any of you had/used an LG combi microwave?
I have always had Panasonic before, but we have seen this one in Tesco for under £100, it would save me having to use the big oven all the time, which will bring my leccy bill down quite a bit..........I had my previous combi for well over 10 years and it was great............I just have enough room for it in the kitchen if I move things round a bit.......Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
Morning all,
Taplady - hugs for the problems with ds1! Hope it gets sorted.
Vastsarah - it takes courage to do that - you should start to feel the benefit.
Crazychik - sympathy winging it's way to you. Dh's cold came back with a vengeance last night - and he's awake, so's everyone else in the room IYKWIM:mad: My sleep last night was not good.
Have just made the spiced vinegar for the 10lbs of pickled onions - should have done it last night - but it can steep all day and I'll put them up later.
Am currently fiddling with the wheat free, dairy free baking - Twink's hob nobs have worked well - not so sure about the bread dough - we'll see. Gingerbread men in the oven ATM - about to tackle pastry for jam tarts and mini bacon quiches.
Beavers tonight - dh is out for dinner. The kids and I are going to have a chicken pie - l/o puff pastry and l/o chicken:D . I want to do some knitting as well and do some costings on this baking.
Ds1 has his flu jab this afternoon - I expect you'll all hear him scream - no matter where you are. I generally have to hold him in a half nelson - luckily he's still shorter than I am.:D
Have a good day everyone“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

Afternoon all and cheers to whoever merged me and n9aev together .... ooo er missus
Well I have been deemed Not Nice To Be Near and full of germs and lurgy so boss has sent me home for the week - yay!!!! I wouldn't mind but he will be doing my return to work interview when i get back and will have a winge about sick time but I'm not as bad as others so I shall just nod wisely and let it all pass over me. This cold is horrid actually and keeps coming over me in waves. I felt a bit of a fraud as I packed up my stuff but then felt absolutley wretched by the time I had cycled back in the rain. Cup of tea and a slice of banana and chocolate cake has restored things a bit. Very handy though as ddad is in the country for a bit although no-one knows quite where he is at the moment. If you see a looks-younger-than-he-is englishman with dutch numberplates wandering around do point him in the right direction.
anyhoo off to bed with the last 50 pages of a book and another cup of tea - have sucessfully warded off dd who wanted to come round to look after me - the last time she did that it involved her on the computer with headphones in while I made endless rounds of toast for dgs to give him the energy to wreck the place
good nightI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
