    Good Morning,

Another lovely sunny mrning here, weather has been bright for ages now.
Could do with being a little warmer but perfect for gardening and walking.
DD is back from Kos now and was up yesterday although she was pretty tired as hadn't got home until 4.30am. Her poor BF was working at 10am.
DS1 , GF and DS3 coming back from their Highland tour this afternoon and then we are all going out for dinner at fish restaurant. Parents are coming out too. DS3 going to cook tomorrow night so I will be having an easy 2 days!

Yes leanfun it is DS1's gfs first time in Scotland and she is loving it. She is blown away by the scenery but does feel the cold even though it has been quite nice. She hasn't seen anything but sunshine here yet!

Had a WEM from Woman & Home and have won a £150 Posterlounge voucher. Have had a look and they have lovely pictures at under a £10 .
Hope everyone has a lucky day.

Morning. Cheers to Sylvia s DH. Happy birthday.

Well done on GSs Win Rose. Expect he will enjoy and have great fun.

Sheils just pleased your visitors have fine weather. I think there is anywhere like it for scenery but can always remember wearing the children wearing woolies.
Well done on your mag win. Great to be able to choose something you like.

I too had a WEM yesterday for a hotel and family visit to Marwell zoo.

Waiting to hear from them if my DD2 can use it. As it is their wedding anniversary in June.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Just had email no problem about DD2 and family going using a Marwell prize. This is so good for them.

Hi. My DH says thank you all for all the lovely birthday wishes today. WD ff for remembering.

Looks like there have been some lovely wins in the Inn over the last couple of days. Well done everyone. We have had about 3 small wins this month so far so not grumbling .

We have been to family tonight and had a lovely BBQ type meal inside and a lovely time and going out again on Saturday with OH's DS2 to a pub where we can have a meal and take the pups with us.

I hope that you are all keeping well. I have been diagnosed with Osteoporosis and have fractured my spine so trying to take it easy but stay active. Have been given new meds to take.

Will try and pop in again soon.
BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS

    Hi Sylvia,

It was great to hear you have enjoyed the celebrations for your DH.

So sorry to hear of your diagnosis and do hope you are not in too much pain. I have had two friends who had spine fractures due to Osteoporosis.

One thought she was going to be house bound and was in extreme pain. She was given the one tablet per week and after a period of time she was able to go out again and pain free. Her doctor carefully monitors her bone density so she does not have to stay on the same dosage.

My other friend had a fall in our garden and they found many micro fractures in her spine. Again after a number of months on the tablets her fractures mended and she was pain free.

The medication for Osteoporosis is what I consider one of the real successes of modern medicine. I do hope that given time it works for you.
