Dil phoned me this afternoon as she was heading for Asda to see if I needed anything. Asked her to get me some basmatti rice. She and grandkids dropped it in on their way home. Also kids bought me a present each chocolate and strawberry ice cream cones but I have not to eat them all as they will be looking to have some next time they are here:rotfl:0

Morning peeps. A bit overcast again here this morning. Hopefully it will clear later. Mr seagull is at it again this morning. Had a look at google to see how long these things live for and it says around 20 years. So many more years of the noisy thing to go yet. Have to go out later for a while as have a physio appointment. Patient ambulance is picking me up which is handy as they wheel me out put me on a lift thing and wheel me in. Anyway hope I find everyone well today. Good luck with comps.0

I'm home again. Just seen a clip on loose women with Simon Cowel' Robbie Williams and his wife. robbie has grown his hair and now has a beard and boy there is a lot of grey in it. I'm about 20 years older than him and do not have that much grey.0

Morning folks. Dull and cloudy here this morning. Supposed to clear later. Physio appointment went ok yesterday have another one on Friday morning. Have a few things to do at home to try and stretch muscles etc to get hip mobile. Have to do them lying down and sitting. So hopefully they will get me on my feet sooner rather than later unassisted. They are also going to get me in to the pool at hospital (yes our hospital has a pool). Hope everyone is well. Be lucky.0

Morning. Sunny here so far.
Rose physio sounds good. Keep up with the exercise.
Sheils it was ho no to the price hike for the hotel. So pleased your family have been having a great get together. Time seems to have been going quickly.
Walked through Greenwich Park yesterday afternoon with DH. It was strange going with just the two of us, usually go there with GKs. We saw some wonderful rhododendrons. So many different colours and so many blooms. Will try to go back and take some pics. Made me think of you Alfie.
DH had bought a voucher for a meal at Cafe Rouge so we had a lovely meal out. Even sat outside, fortunately under cover as there was a sudden downpour and thunder and lightening but we did not get wet.
Hope everyone has a good day. Be lucky.0 -
:hello: Good morning everyone
Hope you're all well on yet another glorious weather
day!
Phew! Yesterday afternoon it became rather too warm
which thankfully ended in a thunder storm, resulting in a lovely
fresh feel to the day (and saved me having to water the
tubs!). :jJust seen a clip on loose women with Simon Cowel' Robbie Williams and his wife. robbie has grown his hair and now has a beard and boy there is a lot of grey in it. I'm about 20 years older than him and do not have that much grey.
I saw that clip too rose! Hardly recognised him! :rotfl::rotfl:
Pleased your physio went well yesterday.
Your walk through Greenwich Park sounds delightful leanfun.
I bet the Rhododendrons were glorious! :T You mentioning
about them reminds me of Exbury Gardens, fairly near to me -
the grounds are absolutely breathtaking.
