Morning all.
Sheils hope the weather stays good for your visitors. Enjoy having all your family around.
Firefly enjoy a lazy day. It is weekend after all.
Alfie loved your pic of who is going to fill the feeder.
Rose pleased you are improving and pain is easing. If you listen to the news or read newspapers we live in very troubled times, so it is very understandable that you worry for your DS. Everyone knows our defence budget has been too drastically cut for what it is trying to do. Rose trust in their training and the knowledge and experience of their seniors. As we get older I’m sure we worry more for our children.
We have been down to visit DS it was much cooler there but very pleasant. We came back yesterday afternoon and had GS here overnight. He’s here for the weekend so expect it will be a trips to our local park weather permitting.
At the end of a children s comp a counter came up with the number nearly 600,000 entries. Then I read it was for all their comps and I’m not sure how many that was. Realistically there seem to be many more people entering each comp. Still hoping for some wins. Be lucky.
Hope everyone has a good weekend.0 -
:hello: Good morning everyone
Hope you're all well. We've a mix of sun and cloud here
todayperfect conditions for gardening/comping and
maybe a weeny bit of housework later on!
Yay!Lovely to hear that you received a 'grow your own
peas' packet from my linky fire**fly! :T
I love seagulls rose but wouldn't like to hear them making
a racket at 4.00am! The crows here are particularly
noisy and regularly steal bits n' bobs from our rubbish sacks
after they've been left out for collection. (No wheelie bins
down my way). Crows are extremely intelligent birds but so
greedy plus they leave a mess behind them too! I always
double bag my rubbish these days.
Sounds as if you're going to have a wonderful time with the
family sheils. :A Enjoy. xxx
Have a brilliant weekend with your GS leanfun. :T I know
what you mean about competition entries these days.
I'm pretty sure the most popular comps attract literally
thousands upon thousands of entrants. _pale_ Always got
fingers n' paws crossed for a win though, despite the
odds!
Talking of comps, had best get on & catch up before I make
a start on anything else.
Have a lovely and lucky Saturday all and please take care
whatever your plans.

Afternoon all. Heading out the back in to the sunshine shortly to have lunch. Neighbour is making up some salad and I have some cooked chicken in the fridge for both of us. She also wanted my recipe for sweet and sour chicken. Told her cook some chicken breast and throw a jar of Uncle Bens sauce over it. She thought as I make most things from fresh I made my own sauce for it as well. :rotfl: I do for most things but sweet and sour I just cannot get to grips witn.0

Goodness there are police and football supporters all over the place. Was wondering what all the chanting and singing was. It is more or less a local derby match today as we are playing the next town and there is great rivalry. They are both in the Scottish Premier league. They used to park the visiting supporters a few yards from where I live but we got that all stopped and they now are parked away from anyone residential so they now walk through the town with a police escort if they are a visiting team and they expect problems.0

Morning peeps. Raining here this morning and it looks like it has been for a while. Neighbour wheeled me up to the pub for an hour last night. There was a fab singer on and in a couple of weeks they have a tribute night on and they have booked a looky likey soundy likey queen act and tina turner act have seen them before and they are brilliant. Was good to get out. She is going in to town this morning so she is going to bring me back a ham hough some jersey royals and a few other veg. Also going to pick me up a couple of Sunday papers when she nips over to shop this morning. Hope everyone is well. Forgot to say we won the football yesterday 3-0 and noticed they must have had the police horses out as there is horse poo intermitantly dispersed along the road. Should have took a bucket and shovel with me and stuck it on parts of gardens I have lol0

Afternoon peeps. Sun is now shining here. Feel as if all I have done is eat today. Neighbour phoned me down to say hubby would pop in with papers and asked if I fabcied a roll on something from cafe as he was getting some for them to save them cooking. He came in with a morning roll with bacon, sausage and a poached egg on it and a small tub of mushrooms done in butter along with newspapers. He didn't know what to get me so he just got me what they were having lol. Also just had chicken tomato and coleslaw for lunch.0
