Brrrrr it's nippy this morning, but the suns out so hoping it will warm up later.Work was hectic yesterday as we were 2 short on our floor. One staff member came to help from the floor above and we got it all done.I have today off just hoping we have a full staff tomorrow.Problem is management have changed the way people work there and some don't like it so have started taking sickies.Never mind it will get sorted in the end.DS is off work today, his GF is working so will pop to shops later for a few bits and bobs. I have no washing to do as son texted me yesterday telling me he had done the washing.
I had another book turn up this morning, from my weekly, Looks like it's a book month this month,lol. Good job i enjoy reading.

It’s strange how on her my thanks keep disappearing on here and I have to redo them.

Sunny here now. We hope to have a quiet weekend but there lots to do here catching up on housework etc.

Been a nice sunny day here so got our towels all dry and more trees/bushes cut back. Getting there now I think!
DD on her way back from Glasgow airport after her Majorca holiday.
Always worry about her driving on the motorway as we don't have any in our area.
Looks like weather should be good for your days off indie.
Hope you enoyed a quiet weekend leanfun.
Booked a Nov 4 night break in a lodge with Parkdean near Pitlochry. It has 3 bedrooms, dishwasher and hot tub and was refurbished this year. Wonder who will want to come with us, either no-one or everyone! Half the price of Forest Holidays so will see what the difference is.

Hope DD had a good holiday sheils and arrived back ok. Your lodge break sounds great and a bargain.
I have just put some washing out as it's dry and sunny but really chilly out still it's early and i think it will warm up. DS picnic basket is being delivered today so will be interesting to see what it's like.Hope you all have a lucky day.

Morning sun is out here.

Thanks we had a really quiet restful weekend but still felt tired. Hope you daughter enjoyed her holiday. She thoroughly deserves it after all her hard work. Great you found a break for November at a bargain price. Should be good as it’s recently refurbished.

Indie hope your DS likes the hamper. We used to go on family picnics with a cardboard box and a cool box. I felt so made up when we had a proper hamper basket.

We collected GS from school yesterday and when we came back postman had left the parcel with calligraphy set in the porch. It has lots in it and it’s my friend’s birthday next week. So good timing. I have never bought her a present but know she will like this. She had a hip replacement in July.

Collecting GS means we leave here at 2.30 to pick him up at 3.30. You never know what the traffic is going to be like and at that time a 20 minute can take nearly an hour. We were home and 7.30 for dinner I hate driving straight after eating. So we were lucky parcel was still there as it came in shinny metallic envelope.
