Lovely and sunny here today too. Have my washing out on the line. Two days of sunshine forecast then we are back to rain again.
At least it is nice weather on the longest day of the year.

I have two small wins. Firstly I got one of the vouchers for a free box of PG tips.
Also won a fathers day comp some shaving gel and a razor.
Both prizes have arrived.

It’s another beautiful weather day here, just come in from
tidying up the front garden. It’s really warm in the sunshine, ☀️
😎 so just cooling off a little & enjoying a cold drink.

I had a very productive day yesterday - ticked quite a lot off
my never ending ‘to do list’ & even tackled a pile of ironing :eek:
(such a boring chore!).

Hope you’ve got everything sorted out now leanfun. Enjoy the
film tomorrow. I’m slowly updating my contacts on my new
phone. It seems to take an age but I’m slowly getting there.

I wouldn’t be without the phone now, so handy! :j :dance:

Morning,well done on the wins I Love comps. We have a lovely morning here,suns out and it's warming up nicely. I enjoyed the film last night but not as good as the first one but then i always find that. Maybe it was because Will Smith wasn't in it and he always brings a good vibe to his films.DS is working later today so i will be in the garden,weeding as they have really sprouted up with all the rain we have had.Hope you all have a good weekend.

Enjoyed my forest walk earlier, also stocked up with
provisions at a local store. Know what you mean
about weeds! :eek: The rest of the day will be devoted
to digging up the blighters in the back garden!

Good Morning all,


Just popped in to say we are having a great time in Cornwall.
Had lovely time in Newquay area and now on Lizard Peninsula. Have been to Falmouth, St Ives, Land's End, Lizard Point and some NT places. Today doesn't look too great but meaning to try visiting some tin mines (used in Poldark series) Such a shame Cornwall so far from home or would come often! Heading into Somerset tomorrow.

Morning, sounds like you are having a good time sheils. That's the problem living so far from places you like, but a good excuse to plan another visit there,lol.
We have another warm day here but no sun as yet. I got some plants re-potted yesterday and brought a few more to add to the pots.Going to cut grass out front today,whilst weather is good.Hope you all have a good day

Another beautiful start to the day here, warm with light
cloud. The sun’s due to make an appearance in the next
hour (apparently)! 🌤 Have given all the tubs a good
watering earlier on this morning & just about to go out
& potter around in the garden.

Sounds as if you’re having a wonderful time in Cornwall
sheils. I’ve always loved it there, so many interesting
places to visit.

I need to inspect my mower before I use it again indie.
Think there’s something caught up inside going by the
noise it’s making. Still cuts fine but not keen on hearing
the screeching sound when I turn it on! :eek: :rotfl::rotfl:

Indie pleased you enjoyed your film the other night. We had enjoyed the film last night. Gone Girl. Rosamund Pike was the main actress and there was a Q&A at the end with her. Very interesting. Saw a lot of people coming back from Ascot at Waterloo.

Sheils pleased you have had some good sunny days. Only saying the other day we never made it past Deven with the children on holiday due to lots of rain. I have heard from friends June best month for Cornwall.

Phew! Just taken a load of gardening waste to the refuse tip.

Although I already have a fortnightly collection I had extra to
dispose of (helping out lovely local guy with gardening) so
decided to make the trip first thing. Wrong move! :eek: :rotfl:

It was every man for himself this morning, :eek: everyone had
the same bright idea of arriving early & it went horribly pear
shaped! I was commiserating with another lady who was
struggling with all her garden rubbish & thankfully some very
kind gentlemen came to her rescue. :T

I’m a very proud mum, :grinheart my lovely son together with
his wonderful girlfriend are taking part in a skydive. :A Not
just to raise awareness & much needed funds for prostate cancer,
but also in memory of my husband who sadly lost his battle to
this dreadful disease 8 years ago. 💙

Good news re my lawnmower leanfun, didn’t have to dismantle
it in the end, just gave the blades etc a good squirt of WD40,
which thankfully worked a treat! Very useful stuff! :j
