Strange things here. Yesterday I had am emai from APC saying to expect a today parcel from NHIMYOURS today before 4pm. I looked up tracking number it didn’t exist. I looked up Yours on here and said they send letter to inform of prizes. The layout of email looked a bit odd so I sent it as spoof email to APC.

Just had a knock on door and a delivery from APC. After searching its from this posting
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=5991968&highlight=yours

So we now have a high pressure washer. Lo and I thought it was a spoof.

Alfie great you had a wonderful time in Paris and Disney world. Sure the whole family enjoyed it.

Sheils your day yesterday sounds exhausting it really interesting so pleased you had good weather. Hope not too many midges. Hope you make it back for your family tonight. It seems to be all or nothing with families.

Rain was terrible here last night but just dull and cold here today.

Better go and thank Laks. Love surprises.

    :hello: Hellooeee all

We’ve actually had a lovely weather day down my way, sunny &
    warm. ☀️😎☀️

Received a message from daughter (Lincolnshire) saying she
was thinking of building an ark, they’ve had that much rain. 😱 ☔️💦

Think we’re in for rain tomorrow & Thursday, so I made the most
of the fine weather today & popped over to the Beaulieu garden
centre & purchased some bedding plants for my tubs at the front
of the house, & very nice they look too. :D
Raining all day and feeling cold.

I won a can of Hooch today.

    Good Luck everyone

Well done on your win I Love comps! :T :j

    :hello: Good afternoon all

It’s another beautiful weather day here despite the forecast for
    rain! 🌤

Took myself off to town this morning to cash in leftover Euros.
I’d also seen a jacket I really liked online (Next) but a few of the
reviews were saying that the sizes were on the large size. So I
decided to pop into Next and take a look. They had one size 12 &
one size 8 left so I took them both into the changing rooms. Size
12 was way too large (I’m usually between 10-12) & I tried on
the size 8 and it fitted perfectly! :j Never been able to fit into
    size 8 clothes. :j:j :rotfl::rotfl:

To be honest, it was more like a size 10’ish so I bought it. It
    looks lovely on. :p

It’s a ‘linen blend utility jacket’ in navy - one of my favourite
    colours. :D

Also ordered another car sticker from Ebay which will join the
other one on my rear window. This one’s bright yellow with the
wording ‘New Forest Drivers Do It Slowly - Stay Under 40’. We’re
still experiencing speeding motorists on the forest roads which
is a big no no for obvious reasons. In fact the local police have
upped their presence at various hot spots & have caught loads
of drivers speeding well above the limit.

Hope you managed to clear up the wood from the garage leanfun
& that the damage wasn’t too bad.

Have a lovely afternoon all, take care.

Morning, welcome back Alfie, Glad you had good weather and a good time.well done on getting the jacket you wanted.
Great win leanfun, we could all do with spoofs like that, lol.
Sounds like you had a busy day after dropping your DS3 off sheils.
I have been busy the last couple of days. Went to cinema and watched Godzilla on tuesday afternoon, enjoyed it.Full of action and i like films like that. Went to work yesterday and working again today. I recieved my books and Lava lamp yesterday but only opened the box when i got in as so tired not even taken the things out, lol. I have tomorrow off so will sort it then. I might leave the car and take a boat up the motorway to work as had so much rain yesterday and it's raining now it's a wonder there wasn't more floods.
Hope you all have a good day

    Morning. Still chilly here.

Yes Alfie we managed to clear the wood in the morning before it started to pour down again. We have a double garage at the bottom of the garden. Most of the garage is metal but the roof has wood around the edges. It’s mainly for decoration so can wait till our friend can come and replace it.

Alfie your shopping trip sounds very productive the navy jacket sounds good. Know what you mean about trying things on. Just wish I was smaller too. We have lost a bit of weight this year.

Indie pleased you enjoyed the film. Hope work is a bit easier today. Agree with your about the rain.

Hope you are enjoying your visitors Sheils.

Take care everyone and good luck

    Morning all,

We have the dreaded rain and it is supposed to be on for the day.
Someone is hopefully coming to pick up a single bed I put up for free so not that handy in the rain. DS2 helped us put it in the garage yesterday.
Had a really nice time with the family but ready for our break now!
Going to get my hair trimmed and highlighted this afternoon.

Had to laugh at your boat up motorway indie - brain took a few mins to process that!

Well done getting jacket Alfie. Struggling to keep weight down here with family and breaks. Do so much walking as well, it is annoying.

Great you have someone who can fix the garage leanfun. Tradesmen are so difficult to get here.

Must get on with some comps as not done any for a while and won't have the internet next week.

    :hello: Good afternoon

Lol at taking a boat up the motorway indie! :rotfl::rotfl: My
daughter has had that much rain, (Lincolnshire) she was
considering building an ark in their garden! :rotfl:

We had really heavy rain through the night & again this
morning. Still went out for my walk though except this time
I was prepared with mac & brollie. ☔️ Definitely didn’t stop
to pick up any litter this time round, that can wait until a
    drier day. :p

I think gardening may be put on hold for a day or so! pelle.gif

Pleased you enjoyed the film indie, have a lovely & well
    deserved day off tomorrow.

Puddy cat hasn’t left my side since my holiday, she’s been
such a loving, talkative little soul - until this morning! :p
I had to administer Profender on the nape of her neck (once
every 3 months) I managed it ok, much to her disgust.
She gave me the evil eye & swiftly disappeared upstairs. Little
does she know that next week I also have to administer
Advantage spot on too (once a month).

I’m hoping I’ll be forgiven by bedtime. :D

At last I think I’ve worked out how to add images now on the
iPad, although I’ll be a lot happier when I eventually get another
lappy. ecrire-ordi.gif Takes an age to post at the mo. :p

Pleased your friend is able to fix the garage leanfun. Must admit
I was very greedy on holiday, enjoyed eating lots of scrumptious
food & drinking a few tipples along the way. Now I’m back home
I’m more or less back to a fairly *cough :o healthy lifestyle,
just the odd slip up now & again! :rotfl:

Hope the single bed was collected ok today sheils, despite the
rain. Enjoy your hair trim & highlights this afternoon, I always
love getting my hair trimmed, it seems to grow so quickly,
particularly my fringe! I usually pop to local hairdresser every
6 weeks or so to keep it looking kind of decent.

Well, had better get on with a bit of hoovering/dusting. I’m very
much still in holiday mode here, & it shows! :p
