Just back from my daily forest walk & looks as if I was spot
on time wise because it's just this minute started to rain,
albeit light! Me thinks it's going to be a mix of sunshine &
clouds today.


I've also volunteered for another litter clearing session
tomorrow (fairly local to me). So looking forward to it. I've
even got into the habit now of taking a bag & gloves with
me on my walks, picking up any litter I see.


It's not been too bad thankfully, but nevertheless .... _pale_


In the last week or so I've found discarded empty ciggy
packs, quite a few ciggy butts, bits of foil, paper & a plastic
bottle top. Although, still can't get my head round why people
think it's ok to drop litter - not only is it a blot on the landscape
it's also a danger to wildlife etc. Feel so sorry for the poor
animals grazing too, which is why I decided to start picking up
litter when I'm out & about.

Afternoon, i had a morning shift so short day for me. Well done on the win leanfun.I know what you mean about litter Alfie, still can't get over someone throwing a pear core out there car window and it nearly coming in my window as i was sat in traffic. Imagine if i had been on a bike, it could have caused an accident. Mindless idiots.We have had sun and showers all morning so it's in for the day here,but it's not cold.

Alfie pleased your laptop is back up. Great you were able to do the walk over the bridges. SIL’s DD used to work in Personnel at Disney and had free family passes when they went over but strangly ours were never that much into Disney. Except DD2 did study animation at degree level and made a film for her finals.
Great you are going out again tomorrow. I feel the same as you about people litter dropping.

Well I’ve been to the bank again. They must see me coming. As well as other things I wanted to draw out cash so thought use machine inside bank. In goes card, card comes out followed by no money. The one assistant stood talking wants me to go over to her but I don’t want to move as I don’t want to miss my money coming out. She won’t budge so I go over and she asks me to put card in another machine this shows everything on our account including minus £150. Yes, the money has come out of your account at the end of the day they will see it has come out and they will put it back in. She told me to check tomorrow it has gone back in. She can see we have more money in account so I have another go in this big machine and out comes the money. She says it happens at least four times a day. Well what if you don’t have more money in account. I gave up thinking of arguing and just walked over to join a long queue with only two people at a counter to do some other business.

Good news on my way back. DH had suggested I try local hairdresser for hair cut hair as was very long. I went in and her one customer was under a dryer so she did my hair straight away and it’s Wuite a good cut.

It’s like April here sun and showers.

Thank you for Dd's birthday wishes. We had a lovely time last night although we still have lots of dishes to wash this morning!

Have just been puting a few pics on FB and Instagram.

Must get on with the dishes. The sun is trying to come out so hopefully get the washing hung out soon too.

Morning, glad you had a good night sheils.I still recon the person who invented crockery and cutlery should be told off,lol. Paper plates need no washing up.I uploaded Instagram to my phone last night (well my son did,lol) still trying to get to grips with it.
Suns out here at the moment so going to get some washing out then off to shops for fridge supplies. Hope you all have a lucky day.

Hey y'all, question for thought- in an average day how many competitions do you think you enter?

I've set up a spreadsheet to track what I enter and although it feels like a lot at the time looking at all the competitions that are around I don't think I'm even making a dent!

having any of it. Had to give up in the end. Luckily, he's

Know what you mean indie re people actually chucking
litter! Absolutely disgusting - as you say, they could have
caused a nasty accident. Makes me so angry.


Talking of litter, I had a brilliant time yesterday morning
at the 'litter clearing' event. The litter wasn't too bad this
time round, maybe people down here are finally getting
the message. We shall see!


Well, must be time for a quick comping session, while
lappy's behaving!

Morning. We were very lucky yesterday with the weather after the downpours on Thursday it was lovely and sunny.

SIL had a good flight from America. She lives in LA but had been working at a conference in North Carolina. The flight was eight hours. She flew into Heathrow and had booked a coach to Victoria. Fortunately I was forty minutes early meeting her as she was through airport very quickly and caught an earlier coach. She’s off out with DD1 and GS today. Our DS came home yesterday as well.

Sheils great you all had a brilliant evening for DD’s birthday. Loved the pics on instagram.

Indie I still haven’t found direct messages on Instagram on iPhone. Must try to sort that.

Alfie sorry to hear lappy still giving you problems. Great you took part in the litter clearup yesterday. It just should not be necessary. Suspect local people are not the culprits but all the visitors.

Well as I’ve woken up too early for me I’m off comping.
