Last night, I was on another forum, reading about reusable sanpro. Apparently there is quite the demand for it as people become more aware of waste and it looks like they are quick to run up. Might be an idea?
Seen lots of great ideas for making. When I finally finished in the shop. But with my overhead bills at the shop I don't seem to be able to make enough profits on makes. Mind you I have so many alterations yet I am not making enough money. The shop has to go. But the lease has another 10 months left. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
I hit meltdown by 8pm last night.
I looked at the work and just knew I had to go to bed.
Dgd woke me around midnight saying her foot hurts, and she couldn't sleep. Then I would expect this morning she will play on it. A battle I can do without. My brain doesn't want to play or plan anything anymore.
Going to have a cuppa and hopefully my autopilot will get me through the day. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
It is beginning to hit you, Mooloo, that you cannot be all things to all people - in your case, to your family. Please do not forget that you are ONE parent - they all have two - and if the second one is absolute rubbish then that is NOT your responsibility - it is the responsibilty of your (adult) children as well as the absent parent to realise that. You have done enough for them all.
As you say,, DGD is playing up - something is bothering her - school/you/uncle - and this is her way of coping with it - to stay near you. This factor alone should be enough to tell you that you have to shake off the adults - however painful that is - and concentrate on her. Stop trying to spread yourself so thinly. xxxx0 -
Take it easy, sounds like you're almost out of steam....Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

Let the whole family know! Do not keep it all bottled up - just tell them all "I cannot cope anymore - I need help now". And let them all sort themselves out. You have done enough - more than enough Mooloo - time for you to take yourself to your Mum's, for a bit of tlc/common sense that she can impart. xxx0

I have closed the shop early as I need to rest. I messaged everyone due to collect so nobody comes to have a waisted journey.
Dgd is still complaining about her foot so I am going to take her to the "walk in " clinic when it opens at 3When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
I agree with Thorsoak that it's absolutely time to focus on yourself and DGD. All of this upset will have been affecting her greatly, and your main responsibility is to her.
Really hoping you manage to find time to prioritise and realise that the others need to learn to take care of themselves. XXI Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

I'm listening to it. I did sew my trolley bag full of stuff, while watching game shows on the tv. But didn't feel pressured.
Doctor thinks Dgd has sprained her ankle. If she gets worse we can go for an X-ray. But he doesn't think it is broken. She can rest up today. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
