Thanks. I will put it on charge when I get home. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0

Last day of my little retreat. Home tomorrow and hopefully a few ideas to sort out our next few moves.
Several enquiries about courses, alterations etc so expect a lot of work when I get back.
Dgd has been ill while at her Mum and is now getting board. I will be seeing about her possibly coming home a bit earlier.
I haven't heard back from DS so yet to know how they are fairing. I will obviously find out just after lunch tomorrow.
I have learned a lot while I have been away.
Changing my life from within. How I think about things and how I perceive them.
All seems mumbo jumbo but I feel something has changed. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Back home.
Things to do and must find my mojo.
Mr T took £227 for car insurance when I didn't ask for it to be recurring. So I have had to trawl my junk email to find their policy and call them for a refund. I told them I was not happy as they had put me into overdraft. I have to wait 3-5 days for it to be returned.
NCC have yet again not paid my Guardian funds. Now told they will not be paying me until Friday. That's £107 down.
Not the best help to my financial situation.
Next it's tidy up time. The social meeting today was cancelled. But I am hoping that contact is still going ahead. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Some payments are set up to be recurring by default unless you cancel them.0

Social cancelled contact at 11.35 it was due at 12.
Then after my son and GF complained and several caiwere made, it was back on again several hours later. Messing up my whole schedule for today.
I didn't get to my Mums until 4.15 and on the way my warning sound dash told me my oil pressure was too low, so I didn't dare take her out. I stayed about 45 minutes then came home via a purchase of oil at the garage!
When I got home I have found the thread has gone in the sump? Think that's what it's called. So while I have not been using the car the drive was having a good drink!
So tomorrow I will have to call the garage. I suppose that I will have to bring my service forward a few weeks and get it sorted out sooner rather than later.
On the plus side the Tesco refund minus a fee has actually appeared in my bank account. So I am not in overdraft anymore. Few!
Still going to have to juggle funds around for a while.
Not sure how long DS and GF are to be here but the Firebrigade have installed a lock on the letterbox after the arson threats.
DS doesn't owe anything to the family from hell but they are after him because he knows all about how their drug dealing works.
Social have written to housing. Let's hope that they can get moved soon so the boys can get home. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
They are working. But on minimum wages. Their hours fluctuate massively . They are already paying rent on their house. They just can't live there at the moment as it's not safe.
With minimal income they can't rent privately nobody would let to them without a guaranteed income. Private rent with no assistance is way out of their league and indeed mine. Your talking of around £800 a month. They are only earning around £170 each on a good week, often less. They still have all the other bills to pay.
If they struggle to live within their means private rentals will only exacerbate the problem and if they can't manage their budget it will go against them being able to provide for their boys.

I am off to bed.
Back to work tomorrow and I have a lot of work to do. All good.
Currently my mental health is fine, no SAD, and hopefully it won't return anytime soon. Light at the ready. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

I didn't sleep as well as I had hoped. Weird dreams when I did.
I have had my teasmade cuppa, and done my emails, and juggled my money. I am pleased to say that the NCC have actually paid the allowance today and I don't have to wait until tomorrow after all.
Savings used for my mini break have been returned to my accounts.
All bar £46 of it. I can live with that.
I will walk to work today, hopefully book the car in to the garage tomorrow.
I will have a lot of organising to do at the shop, as my Saturday staff kept it open, and my Seamstress did Saturday extra for me. She's coming in tomorrow as well.
I have had a person enquire about the job, so I will be following up on course enquiries and job applications etc.
I will probably have to do overtime for the rest of the time Dgd is at her Mums.
When she returns to school she is no longer going to be going to after school club.
So I need to inform tax credits people.
I have a few important jobs to do with accounts etc etc.
September is going to be a busy month for me.
So I am hoping to finish August with a good head start. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
