Time for breakfast and then packing. Topping up the cars petrol and a last stroll around the marina. Then a swim in the afternoon. We will just have to take wet bathers Home in a carrier bag. We have until around 5pm before we leave for the Airport. I am visualising a uncomplicated day, smooth transition and that my suitcase will stand up to the return journey. That the flight is going to be on time and that we are not over booked. That it's a smooth flight and the person next to us is pleasant. That the suitcase is waiting for me on the baggage carousels as we get through customs and that the airparks bus is there. That my car will start and we can be home just after midnight.

Never got to go to the Marina, Dgd was in stubborn mode and wouldn't leave the swimming pool.
But no complications getting to the airport on time, returned car, hardly any queuing at check in, only a small queue at security, straight through passport control. Just time to buy a subway, then through to departures gate. Then queues as usual. Plane took off only 15 minutes late. Arrived on time. Yes person next to me was pleasant. My bag was on the carousel waiting for me, and the bus was also waiting. Only problem was a detour on the m42 sending us north before turning us around south as the road was being resurfaced.

Housing benefits letter, yes you are entitled but we don't allow xyz of my expenses adding up to over £1,000
Then second letter to say Tax Credit has altered so I no longer qualify for council tax benefits and housing benefits less.
I will work on it tomorrow!
I am too tired to argue about it at the moment.
So glad to be home, but friend was supposed to buy milk today for us but she didn't so no tea and no breakfast till we get to the shop.

I have been for a walk down to get milk for breakfast.
It's quite windy and cloudy out there!
I am incredibly tired, and could quite easily go back to bed. But I am so glad that I had already decided to leave returning to work until Monday.
Just having my cup of tea and some toast, before emptying the suitcases and starting on the washing mountain. But I am glad to be home.
Now I can start afresh and plan to take stock in the shop and see what I can do to improve it.
After the week of time to reflect etc I am on the whole ready to return and get back on track. I will have my Portuguese Dreams!
I just have to work on my self first.
But maybe I will have a nap after the washing is started, or a bath or both.

So excited to see my Shop advert in one of the National sewing magazines!
I hope that it will bring my business more customers, especially with the next round of sewing courses.
On the Home front the first washing load is nearly finished, then when I have swapped it around I am going to take a walk down the town to say goodbye to the shop retailer next door who closes today. Then pop in the shop and familiarise myself with what needs to be done on my return on Monday.

I have been doing the usual unpacking, washing, and been down the street to check the shop is still standing, say good bye to the retailer next door, visit the butcher and the green grocer, and had a nap! Then I have been reading in the bath. Bout time I did some tidying up though now. Dgd is our playing. Only one wash load left to do, but it keeps trying to rain so I have a basket piled high with wet stuff at the moment. I will hang it up in the bathroom later, and hopefully outside tomorrow. Not seen the weather forecast yet.

Drying the washing is my current problem as the rain has not stopped since we arrived home.
I have started trying to block my time out so that I actually achieve some of the jobs that I want to do. Despite a quite lazy start to the day. I have also been Food shopping for all the fresh food I need for healthy eating.
I am going to study for the next hour while I drink my tea etc
Tomorrow is back to work and school club for dgd.
Although she has just come home saying she has a headache and feels sick. Not a good omen for tomorrow!

I am awake but not jumping out of bed wide eyed and bushy tailed! I woke at 4.45 for the loo and couldn't get back to sleep. At 6.00 I decided to listen to one of my hypnosis tapes and fell asleep briefly through it!!
The teas made in use for the first time in months. A proper cuppa before I properly start my healthy eating again.
Back to work today, hopefully all will go well and I will be making inroads into any backlog.
    Positive despite tired!
Mind you I have still to wake Dgd!

Thankyou the day was a good one. Although some dodgy repairs been booked in, that to me are possibly Unrepairable.
There is a reasonable amount of work considering we were shut all but two days.
Plenty of people in today too.

On the down side Twin2 has had her ESA stopped as she apparently no longer qualifies for it and she has to apply for Universal Credits. She is in a panic as it's monthly and in arrears. She can't manage fortnightly payment and will have nothing to live on until the UC is sorted. I don't hold out much hope that she is going to be paid anytime soon.
Unfortunately she is not able to start her soap business yet as she doesn't have the funding. I have ordered her some bits and pieces that should be with her but only for her to start making samples. If I had known that the ESA was being reassessed I would have held off as she's going to need food.
