We had a good night sleep at last.
We have had a lazy morning in our room as Dgd has bad earache again. But we just ventured out for some lunch.
I must be jinxed as the burgers were not cooked properly so had to go back to the kitchen, but it's put Dgd off eating hers as half way through hers too was not cooked enough.
Time to practice positive thoughts and things and make sure we just have the best time we can.

Car park at home contacted. It's going to be an extra £7 a day.

My credit card has not seen so much action since my daughter's wedding last year.
But I think everything is sorted now. Called the shop and spoke to the Seamstress. She's going to call all appointments that we have and inform them of my changes. I have put it on Facebook but unfortunately I don't have access to my website ( I don't have the password on me!). So I cannot flag anything up on it.

Has Biggest got a key to the shop? Could she get your address book/diary and phone people? And put a note in the window?

Not anymore. I had the locks changed as the Yale broke and so she won't be able to get in. However I have asked the Seamstress to change it before closing tomorrow. She was very busy with people collecting and a panic stricken bride, when I rang this morning.
She will just do her best, that's all anyone can do.
As far as I am aware the next wedding we were dealing with was 4th August so that's cutting it fine. But if nobody panics it will be doable on my return even if the Seamstress hadn't managed to do it by tomorrow.
Tomorrow I will call again and suggest that collections can be done via the shop next door until Saturday but she is closing down on Saturday for good so I would need to collect from her before closing if anything is left behind.
Positive thoughts that all will be well in the end.

Dgd has had enough of the sun and swimming for today and has retiredto technology, as I have. Except I am about to write my journal and have a cuppa on the balcony. No chance of getting eggs chucked at this one.

Does dgd wear a hat when swimming ? My middle dd was very prone to ear aches and infections so always wore a hat .

Is there not a 'forgot your password' option? I've changed a password at work today because I didn't have access to the login details for something.

    I swear by earplugs too.

Yes there is forgotten password option but then when I get home my password book will need changing, my computer that has it stored will all need changing and I feel that it is quite a faff. Really not sure that my website brings me in very much trade to worry too much.
I am trying not to worry about it.

I think Dgd is going to have to wear ear plugs in future. I did bring some but she didn't like them. I should have insisted, but her ears are too sore to put anything in them at the moment.
I have given her ibrufen and paracetamol at the moment. Which seems to help her a bit.
We had a stroll around the marina, had a meal watching the world go by, came back to the hotel where there was a singer on, but it was a bit chilly in the breeze so we returned to the very comfortable bedroom.
I read for a while Dgd was asleep quite quickly after the tablets.
She's still asleep this morning but I will have to wake her soon so that we can go downstairs to breakfast, although yesterday she hardly had anything as she felt sick.
There are sand sculptures up the road just outside one of the town's, we went to see them a few years ago in the day, but it was too hot, so we are thinking of going this evening instead.
Tomorrow we are going back to the Zoomarine and collecting her toy Wolfie, that was found. I am hoping that the money will stretch a bit as no longer self catering it is having to stretch three extra days, although I know Mum would help me I don't want to take the proverbial.

On earplugs, you can get different kinds, and some are more comfy than others! I know, it's all expense while you experiment, but ... I find the 'cones' are ghastly, they have very little 'give'. The moulded ones which look like a hearing aid mould are better, and they spread over the entrance as well. But you can use the completely mouldable ones too, or even blu-tack - google it!

We had a day in the room/on the balcony once it had some shade. Dgds tonsils are up now as well. Every holiday itvis becoming as regular as clockwork. Poor girl.
We did venture out for a snack and a drive to see the sand sculptures this evening. They are amazing if a little worse the ware from the weather. The one of trump was funny as it was about combovers and cover ups!
We are back in the room now. I am having one of my beers and sitting on the balcony enjoying the hotel entertainment down below. Dgd is getting ready for bed.
I hope that she will be better Tom tomorrow.

The plan today is to revisit Zoomarine, collect and reunite Dgd with her soft toy that they found, and watch the dolphins show, the 4D cinema and probably the parrot show. Plenty of sun cream, water and queues. Last time this year though.
