Another busy day. 13 new jobs in.
A few collections but until I Sew more I don't expect much money in.
I still struggle to ask for money up front.
I have once again won £10 on my Postcode Lottery.
So that's my stake for one month reimbursement.
Maybe it's also a good luck sign.
Biggest hosted contact at her house with the boys and my son etc.
My grandson asked for me so we said Hello on FaceTime. He was excited to be at his Auntie's. But the signal was poor so I don't know how it went in general, but I am so pleased he wanted to see me.
I will remember the night before he left for as long as I live, when he sat next to me after his bath and said "I am so Happy Granny "
Long may he be happy.
Dgd is going through the I don't like mornings, but was I am pleased to say ok at school after the struggle to get her up and there. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Have the dreaded cistitus today.
Up to the loo too many times to count in the night, so a trip to the chemist today.
Had to give a sewing job to the opposition as my machine is corrupt. Posted some Bunting that was ordered via Facebook.
Delivered a dress to a customer who works near by. Bought myself a cardigan in the shop next door, bought a baguette for lunch.
Basically I was in and out of the shop all day.
So although I am home tomorrow I have brought a load of work Home to do, while I wait for the habadashery van to visit.
Next week Mum is coming home. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Is your mum coming home early?
Yes, she didn't like it at my sisters, her other half was a bit rude, and my sister wasn't a very caring nurse when Mum was ill. So she asked me to get her out of there. So my brother picked her up early and she's been with him for a few weeks, but he has family coming for a fortnight so Mum is coming home because she doesn't want to go back to my sisters again.
So we will try to get her back to my Brothers in September for another short trip.
We are going to Coimbra for Christmas so she has a few things to look forward to.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
I do hope you feel better quickly Mooloo!0

Drink lots and lots of water Mooloo! I hope it goes away quickly.0

Drinking lots of water. Up more times than I can remember last night. Caused problems all day as I had to keep finding the loo while out and about.
Plans went out the window as they often do. But it was for DS to hire a petrol strimmer to start on the garden. But I had to go to the other side ofMK to collect one.
The lady returned the embroidery she did for me, I met her outside her school, then stopped at work (for the loo), before walking home. Bought veggies in the new green groceries, did the bathroom and kitchen, unclogged the vacuum (yet again). Dismantled the cot, moved the table back up stairs, vacuumed the stairs and the front room. Changed my bed.
Delivery van came, bought far too much lovely fabric, threads, ribbons etc etc.
Then the trip to MK.
Home for dgd, out again to the post office for our Euro's. Before I spend the money on any other members of the family.
Then I sewed until 20 minutes ago. Except to cook tea.
I managed all the jobs I brought home except for the artist chaps.
I will do some of his tomorrow as he's getting impatient.
No matter how many times I told him I was too busy he wasn't listening.
Time for bed.
I am not hopeful of much of a rest though. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Better night then I expected perhaps the medication is starting to work, only up 3 times.
Having my cup of tea in bed as I actually remembered to set the teasmade up.
Emails checked, document needed signed, dates added to the calendar.
I have more than a car full of stuff to take to work, peoples clothes will take a priority.
Stock will go second.
I will be on my own again for the next two days, so I will probably run motivational videos in the background while I see. Seems to pass the day and keep me on task.
The sun is still shining which always helps me.
Fingers crossed it stays and I stay positive.
First fitting of the day is at 10am so it gives me time to vacuum at work before I start the real work of the day.
Onwards and upwards!
Hopefully fewer distractions today. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Ps, school authorised the absence for dgd on the last few days of school. So I don't have to worry about a fine winging its way to me.
I have the forms to book her in the holiday club so I need to do that today. After the Summer I will be changing her after school arrangement as mostly now she could come down to the shop on her bike. So my tax credits will need adjusting at September term starts.
Budget will need doing again as income will once again change.
Mind you I didn't apply for the housing benefits although I know that I am entitled to it, and it could make life easier financially, but I might have to soon. It depends on the shop accounts that I still need to update. Haven't done anything since April!! Really no excuse I just don't do it.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
