    Evening all :D
Been spending again :o It is so lovely to buy things I have been desperate for and not worry about the price! I am almost sorted now, today I bought two pairs of jeans and a pair of jeggings (size 16! Size flipping 16!) along with three tops and yet another tracksuit :D I am off to Liverpool next month so the new jeans and tops will be good for then. Along with my new underwear and pjs I am set for a while :)

Been to the bingo with mum today. Mum is slightly disgusted at how strong my willpower is at the moment :D she is trying to do SW (but failing :rotfl:)and was trying to tempt me with a scone yesterday :D however I stood firm and stuck with my peppermint tea :A I have 6 weeks until my awards night and I have to be mega good!
    Todays menu:
B: HEXB porridge with HEXA,rasps and blueberries, decaf coffee with HEXA remainder
L: jacket spud, beans and salad. Apple. Mango and pineapple fingers, water
T: Aldi 5% burgers x 2 (2) onions, SW chips, salad. Mini Milk (1.5) 7 Up Free mojito
    S: 7 wine syns :D (non-alcoholic of course) 3 Broghies with smoked
    salmon and pease pudding (3)
    Syns: 13.5
Steps: 9,921 (some at quite some speed after I realised I had left my newly purchased bottle of perfume in the changing room at River Island :D)
    Night all xxx

May I join in please? I can't afford group, but have an old book. I've been doing ok on my own until the last few weeks with stay sames and minor gains. (see signature) I know I've slipped from weighing and counting syns. I need to get back into the habit. I've set aside today to get ahead on things.

    Love your spending spree, Mrs_R.

    Well done, esmy.

Snowing again here! Glad you got to hospital (and shops), Kathryn.

Thanks, beanie. Got a call at 7am from DSiL that they were at hospital as DD had had a bleed. Our DS had gone to their house to mind DGS and they took son’s car to hospital as they couldn’t get theirs out. Just as well he didn’t get to Spain! I got word just after 9am that Caoimhe had been born (7lbs 15ozs, so not as big as we expected) along with this picture

I had to text back to ask whether baby was a boy or a girl (no clue in pic) and how do you say that?
Answer – a girl, say Keeva. I googled it and Caoimhe means beautiful, gentle, precious.

Guy in village hired a digger, so we are hoping to go visiting later.

    Congratulations greentiger :j

I would have had no idea with sex of baby never seen that name before and like you say don't know how to pronounce it .

Achieved a STS this week, which I'll take with a smile.

Snow all gone here so hopefully the bed will arrive tomorrow.

    Plan for today:

    B - Fruit and yoghut
L - Wholemeal roll with ham and salad
D - Roast chicken with LOTS of veg

HEX A will be used in tea and coffee.

Finally a loss!! -2lb for me this week :j

That means I'm a third of the way to my target (doesn't seem to be much difference in how my clothes fit me yet though), woo! Looking forward to the Spring challenge :)

Thanks to this group for keeping me motivated with some amazing losses and great recipes!

Welcome Dancing Dragon. A lot on here don't go to group but several of us do. You say you've got old books but how old?

There have been a lot of changes over the last few years and a not of changes to syns as well.

If you post your menu plans each day we can have a look to let you know how your plan works with SW.

Snow is definitely thawing but still plenty of ice around! We live on an unmade road so it's going to be very muddy once the ice melts - not nice at all!

    Today's plan:

    B - SW fry up
    L - HM leek & potato soup
D - HM chicken curry with rice; may make some pakoras to go with it if I've got any small mixed veg but don't think I have. Not enough onions to be able to do bhajis unfortunately.

    HEA - milk as usual
HEB - not sure but I'll find something

Still struggling to have my syns although was up early this morning and DH made some toast & marmalad so had half a slice so 2.5 for bread; 2 for butter & 2 for marmalade! So 6.5 already today but that's fine I've got plenty left!

    Morning all.

Welcome Dancing Dragons. There's many of us that don't go to group on here so you'll be in good company.

Poor day yesterday - my tummy was not good for some reason so little eaten except toast. Feeling better this morning, so I'm back on it.

B 1/2 grapefruit with 1 tsp sugar, boiled eggs and crispbreads
L Will make some soup, probably cauli and horseradish
D Roast chicken, roast root veg, cabbage (Aldis super 6 veg is good this week)

More snow overnight here - the last lot was on it's way out yesterday. I'm fed up of this weather now - a Spring like day would be very welcome!

Does anyone know about what happens if you take holidays in the middle of a countdown? I am ill so took off this week and next week. Will the countdown be extended for two weeks?

Dont believe it. The 40mph winds have gone and we havent had snow since Saturday a.m. Thought it was all over and didnt believe the forecast of snow this morning. Well sure enough its chucking it down!Does look rather wet ,perhaps it wont lie,but as we have six inches of the nasty stuff already thats not much comfort!:rotfl:
