I've decided that 2018 is the year for true self care...next week I'm going to an open rehearsal of a local singing group. i love singing but haven't sung in front of people for years! so as that's at the same time as sw I'm going to move to a Tuesday weigh in. also changing to a different group as the lass that does my nails from time to time has opened one tonight!
does anyone know if there will be a new countdown offer soon?
I asked my Consultant about this as mine runs out on 13 Jan. She said there will be a free book offer again opinion Feb so I should pay singularity for a couple of weeks. HTH.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Lush, what a wonderful idea. As women we tend to neglect ourselves. I would like to join you - but I know I will fail

Thanks kathrynha - imagine, SOTW with a ½lb loss
It was just the incentive I needed at the minute though
I've got the post Christmas blues already, and was just pondering what to eat - so I've had an orange :rotfl:
Thank you Kathrynha, Denise, esmy, bubbs and greentiger.
Chrisv a loss is a loss, glad to be joint SOTW with you.
Sadly tomorrow is going to be a carnage on those scales because today I had a cheese and jam binge. Tons of apricot jam on cottage cheese and quark, then crispbreads with cheddar. Well over and above 15 syns. I don't know why, it was like a madness, a massive hunger attack. I hope one day will not damage the whole plan especially after being so careful.
Please what's a NSV? And what's the countdown offer? Thank you. Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -

Hiya
I stunned myself and the rest of the group with a -2lb!!
Nope I have no idea how eitherI did half an hour on the treadmill at the hotel gym on Sunday. I like to think that helped as it near finished me off :rotfl: Another incentive for me to get to target- got the brochure today for mine and OH’s annual holiday park holiday and as I’m paying this year I have decided I would like to stay in one of the brand new lodges complete with private hot tub! Have said I would like to be in a size 14 swimming costume. We shall see! If it weren’t for the fact of my scars I would even consider a bikini.
Tuesday’s menu was:
B: HEXB x 2 HiFi, 2 clementines, decaf coffee with HEXA x 2
L: Jacket spud beans and salad, water
T: SW veggie burgers in whole meal roll (6) with tons of salad and gherkins, Uncle Ben’s golden veg rice (2.5) Cherry choc pudding with strawberries (2) water
S: 4 crackerbreads with chicken and gherkins (4) crisps (6) water
Syns: 20.5 (whoopslittle miscalculation there
)

Have any of you heard from WIZ or LANTANNA? I'm hoping SHALA might join us again soon too.
Off to grab a cuppa.
Hope they are all okay/dustydigger wrote: »Wow! Totally stunned with a 3 lb loss.:j:j:j

I've also realised that I don't actually need or enjoy the honey with the porridge any more so that will be 2 syns per day saved going forward.
I discovered that a while back too. Now just have porridge made with water, with some raspberries stirred in, and I love it. With honey or syrup is just far too sweet nowNSV today. I bought a top from M&S before Christmas and at that time tried on a similar one however opted for the first one as it was more dressy. Tried both in size 16. Saw that the second one was in the sale but smallest size available was 14. Ordered it as incentive. It has arrived today and fits though it pulls just a little across my chest. So chuffed.

Good that you are taking time for yourself.
The countdown offer will start at the end of January, and be a free book, but don't know what book yet.Zebras rock0 -

There can be a lot of posts, and so many names. I'm useless at it too. I end reading the thread with a notebook so I can make notes, and am often so busy trying to find the weigh in's and updating the spreadsheet that I forget to congratulate people.Hiya

Well done on the loss.
A hot tub on holiday is lovely. As long as my picc line is out I plan to book somewhere with one for my holiday this year.
I have scars too (and will get even more over the next few months), and I don't want people to see them, but I keep being told I should be proud of my scars, as they are part of me and my story. If you want to wear a bikini then wear one. Stuff what anyone else thinks.Zebras rock0 -
Finally caught up on yesterday afternoon and evenings posts properly.
You lot always seem to post most when I am busy or just on my phone, where it is harder to respond quickly.
New week, and determined to lose some more of my December gain. In theory would like a 5.5lb loss to get back to my 4 stone, but that's probably a tad ambitious.
Today's plan:
Breakfast - porridge and fruit
Lunch - pasta salad
Dinner - cottage pie
HA - milk
HB - oats
Syns - salad dressing (1)Zebras rock0
