Weigh in for me tomorrow, and once again not feeling it's going to be good, but not sure how much I can do to salvage it before then. At the hospital this afternoon for a scan and to see the consultant so will find out how the op went and how my kidneys are coping.

    Today's plan:
    Breakfast - porridge and fruit
Lunch/snacks - fruit, cereal bars, quavers
Dinner - Bolognese already in the slow cooker

    HA - milk and cheese
    HB - oats
Syns - cereal bars and quavers
    Zebras rock
  • Well done Lucia22 on SOTW.

Hope everything goes ok today Kathrynha

I'll be thinking of you this afternoon kathrynha. Hoping for some really good news.:)

The chart really makes interesting reading. Except for some very small gains (about 4lbs between all of you), everyone else has lost. That's fantastic!:T

As usual I've got a small number of syns left to last for 3 days. That's usual for me as I use most of my syns at weekends. Just checked back and I have 17.5 left which is great! We'll probably have one more big porage breakfast and then I'm planning a corned beef hash which has some syns (compared to ham hash) later in the week.

I just looked up syns online and I can make the corned beef hash recipe I like for 6 syns which I'll share with DH. That's using the Princes reduced fat corned beef. What's crazy is that they don't list Fray Bentos corned beef which is probably the market leader.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: cold meat, LO fried veg inc. potatoes, pickles
D: baked salmon, SW chips, stir fried veg
    Syns: none planned
  • Hi all,
I finally have a loss! -3lb for me this week :) after a few weeks of no progress I'm more relieved than anything. Have been sticking to plan apart from this weekend as we were away and it was a bit tricky so I had a few guesstimates but always tried to pick the healthiest option and avoided alcohol (still getting over the flu so didn't feel like it anyway).
Hoping to get back into exercise this week - the flu really floored me.
Love reading this thread, well done for all the losses and STS :j

    Evening all,

Thanks for the welcomes everyone, I will hopefully remember your names in time!

kathrynha yes please add me to the spreadsheet, would like another 10 lbs off by beginning of march.
bubbs your meals look great, I tried the mini quiches..epic fail!

Quite a disjointed weekend for meals, hubby working late shifts and a birthday meal has resulted in a few more syns than necessary.......I think I might be hormonal too as I've craved chocolate all weekend and been tetchy with the kids, or it just might be the sugar monster in my head getting grumpy lol

Shopping done this morning though and meals planned for the rest of the week so still hoping for a loss at WI

    Plan for tomorrow is
    B - overnight oats
    L - large egg salad
D - beef strips with lots of stir fry veg

    Snacks will be fruit, yogurt.

Happy Monday for tomorrow everyone! Oh and what are brogies?

GAF that looks very much like an EESP day which means you can have another HEB, assuming of course you're not planning potatoes, peas etc.

You've just reminded me Maman that I haven't included a corned beef hash in my menu plans for some time. Think that will be on the next one as I have a tin of corned beef in the fridge which has been there some time.

Well done Lucia on being our SOTW.

    Today's plan:

B - stuffed mushrooms - stuffed with onion, pepper, mushroom stalks, ham all mixed together with some fromage frais. Haven't had this for a long time as well and must say it was very tasty
L - 2 pea soup - split peas; frozen peas; onion; potato; garlic, mustard powder, cumin seeds; ginger; stock - all pressure cooked for about 12 minutes before whizzing. Think it may be a bit thin when I reheat it so if it is I'll add a little Xanthum gum to thicken
D - Cold roast chicken, chips, beans, tomatoes & mushrooms

    HEA - milk
HEB - not sure but maybe a couple of Ryvita and a Hifi bar
Syns - Laughing Cow triangle 1 if I have the Ryvita; nothing else planned but do still have a lot of syns left (for a change - think it's all to do with the gin diet:D rather than the wine diet:rotfl:

Well done Lucia22 on slimmer of the week.

Hope you're going on ok Kathryna

Been on the scales this morning and have

    sts

Am happy with that as I thought I'd have gained to be honest. Might swap food plan around a bit next week but I do enjoy what I eat so we shall see. Got 5 weeks until Cheltenham so would love to get the 6lbs off to get to 4 stone loss. Just need to avoid frankie and bennies and the weekly offer :/ I love fudge cake but it certainly don't love me :/

Well done though folk, nearly half of target lost. It's fantasic news :)
    :T:T :beer: :beer::beer::beer: to the lil one :) :beer::beer::beer:

    Afternoon all.

Well done Lucia22 on SOTW and thanks once again Kathryn for the chart - hope you get some good news today.

Finished on 9 syns yesterday so have recouped the extras from the weekend.
    Todays menu:
B Boiled eggs 4 crispbreads and scrape of spread
L LO beef sandwich with various pickles, orange and yoghurt
D Speedy veggie lasagne with a sprinkle of cheese, salad and/or green beans

MrsR was it you that mentioned salted caramel Alpen lights? Might be competition for my favourite cherry bakewell flavour! I'll have to find some to try.

    Have a good day everyone.

:T well done cattycat. It can often happen that weightloss doesn't go in logical weekly steps but, provided you stick to the plan, all good work catches up eventually!:D

It agrees with me too denise:D I've been trying to have at least one of my evenings at the weekend on gin instead of wine.

I was only thinking that GAF's food looked a bit thin on the ground. I always have noodles or rice with a stir fry and sometimes chips as well! Peas would be OK for EESP though.
