Evening all

Quiet here this afternoon. We , and our visiting 32 year old son, watched Bedknobs and Broomsticks on tv. He curled up on the sofa and sang along to all the lyrics. Lol!

Sending hugs to all who have folk in hospital, or who are worried or poorly.

Have a good evening however you are spending it. I wish you all a happy and peaceful 2018.

Evening all, sorry for the late post.
Dad has been here all day and just gone home, it was a "woe is me" day . Don't know why he complains so much, he's made it to 88 and had a reasonably good life, compared to some people who are having a tough time at a relatively young age. Couldn't be bothered to argue today because I'm cream crackered, as I woke at 1.30am from a dream in a blind panic and couldn't settle again. Probably won't be awake to see in the new year, will try to last till 8pm !
Anyway I wish you all a Happy and Healthy New Year and my thanks for your support and friendship in 2017.
FBO I am so sorry to read about your cousin, my sincere condolences.
NMLC I hope your DM makes a full recovery

FBO I am so sorry to hear your news, but what a wonderful thing her parents are doing Hugs to you all, and anyone else who is having a hard time tonight.

I have decided to stay at home tonight and keep my germs to myself.Just a quiet night with my feet up and my knitting in my hands.

I hope you all have a great night ,whatever you are doing.Stay safe and warm if you can and may tomorrow bring you all you wish for

Evening all


Very stormy here today, we went out and got some food shopping in for the week and got some nice scallops for a starter for tonight and a steak for a main, all eaten and was very tasty.


DD and her boyf have gone to a hotel for the evening so its just OH and I here, Evie has had a treat of some chicken for dinner, the wind is howling so hopefully there wont be too many fireworks later.

FBO sorry to hear the news, but how brave your cousin's parents are allowing her organs to help other people. My thoughts and prayers are with you all a such a difficult time.

9.40 and we are in bed, think the strain of looking after me has caught up with OH. I did manage to cook supper tonight. Have arranged with my cleaner for her to do the ironing, just a one off........2 king-size and one single duvets, one king size and one single fitted sheet and 16 pillowcases........
