Afternoon ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) if you need one.

A very slow start, OH is feeling the strain a bit, each day is slightly better, but I am toiling to do anything, have to sit down for half an hour. He has just gone for his siesta. The bed needs changing when he gets up, so we have a clean bed tonight. I will have 3 loads of ironing. Am thinking of asking my cleaner if she has someone who will do an hours ironing for me, the sight of it is driving me nuts.

Supper tonight, pork and roasted veggies, some of the strawberries in jelly for dessert, we have some cream needs using up before it goes off.

NMIC have just read back, so sorry to hear about your Mum, I hope you get better news later. Have an extra (((((hug))))).
  • Nmlc, best wishes for your mum
I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back
  • Nmlc I hope you get some good news today and manage to see your Mum.

I’ve just heard my cousin was declared brain dead this morning. They are keeping her ‘alive’ to harvest organs, but she is gone. She would have been 25 tomorrow. I think I’m just numb.

  • NMLC, best wishes for your mum.

Today I treated my husband to egg sandwiches using hm bread.

Lazy day again - I know I need to get a move on but at the moment my get up and go has got up and gone. I KNOW I should just dive in BUT there is just sooo much to do.
Any inspiration would be welcome or just a good old fashioned kick up the jacksie!

My sympathies too FBO. From such an awful tragedy some good appears. Take heart and keep strong.

Storm Dylan has passed through. My freesat dish is damaged, I’m not too bothered just now as I can watch most programmes on my tablet for now.

Whether or not I stay awake until the bells is still unclear. I’m normally well tucked up by 9pm in winter. It’s 2018 already with my family in Australia so perhaps I can count that!
