16/52 - a tidy out of a section of my kitchen resulted in a bit less than I'd hoped to get out but looks a LOT better! A few small broken bits binned and a few paper bits recycled but mostly a tidy and items returned to their rightful places (plus a half empty box of chocs donated to work and a banana loaf made with 2 over ripe bananas and ood toffee).
  • Another very warm day here in France :T

More stuff in the ‘Sale Room’ - we have stuff stacked up all over the place from DVDs to a pool cleaning robot :rotfl: toys, cuddly toys, games, crockery, cots, ornaments, 28 small sturdy storage boxes, pedestal fans, croquet sets, pictures, photo frames, binoculars & even gas bottle heaters :rotfl: You name it & we probably have it :rotfl:

    F340 - F341 Small sewing machine & v*x type cleaner - SOLD & COLLECTED
F342 - F343 Large boxes filled with paper/cardboard/books for Tip
F344 - F345 Boxes filled with general rubbish for Tip
F346 Large box of metal bits for Tip
F347 - F350 Small Black Bags of general rubbish for wheelie bins

DSis has also packed a crate of ornaments for the trip to England :T

    Onwards & upwards

  • Bon soiree

Have filled half a wheelie bin of recycling, sold a Travel game & a stone garden statue & a gas cooker which will be collected when we leave :T as we are still using it :rotfl:
    So

    F408 - F410 Items SOLD
Also & this is a real biggie DH persuaded DSis to reduce the prices on the furniture in the gite. The new owners to be are therefore buying 2 double beds & 2 single beds, 4 wardrobes, 2 chest of drawers & 4 bedside cabinets + pool chemicals & cleaning equipment so

    F411 - F426 ITEMS SOLD

So we will continue decluttering. DSis is still being brutal with her decluttering & today DH & I both admitted that we both thought she would find it more difficult as she is very sentimental & then told her how proud we both are of her :T:j:T:)

1 Leave in hair conditioner finally UU

Looks like you and your family are making real good progress in France Mrs Salad Dodger. Has all the clearing out got to be done by a certain date?. If so will that be achievable now you have made so much progress?. Hope so because you all seem to have worked so hard sorting through everything.:)
