  • Hi from sunny & very warm France :)

The car has been full to the gunnels for two Tip trips today - both paper/cardboard/books + a large box of pots & pans. The loft is ALMOST empty.

    F221 - F230 Paper/cardboard/books to Tip today
F231 Large box of pots & pans to Tip today.

The space for sale items has been swept out & two large garden tables set up - one is covered with nice wooden toys, a box full of fully clothed Action men, other boxed toys + a dozen or so large toys (still in their boxes) + badminton set all standing on floor + a box of small plasticky toys. The other table is taken up with boxes & boxes of jigsaw puzzles (at least one still cellophane wrapped :rotfl: ) & some nice crockery, glassware etc.

Five Tip runs in 3 days

I am not as happy as yesterday because have just found out that ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING HAS TO GO - pictures, white goods, furniture, pots & pans & so much stuff :eek::eek::eek:
Technically two LARGE houses need to be emptied of almost everything - should find out over the weekend what the buyers want to actually buy:o
Anyway car already loaded for first Tip run tomorrow.

There are at least 3 more carloads ready for the Tip :rotfl: if I didn’t :rotfl: I would be sobbing my heart out :cry::cry:

Have to say adieu before I get too depressed :o

    MrsSD
F231/F20,180 & you all thought I was joking :rotfl:

  • DSis & her DS have just gone on the 2nd Tip run

F241 - F244 Large bin bags of general rubbish to Tip
F245 - F248 Cardboard Boxes full of tat to Tip
    F249 - F250 Broken stereo & speaker to Tip
F251 Rest of the exercise bike to Tip
F252 Small box of books to Tip

So DSis has now made SEVEN Tip runs & there are two more carloads for tomorrow.

They have just come back & DSis has jumped on the sit-on mower, as the grass is now dry enough to cut after 3 days of sunshine :j No need for it in our garden - she will miss it :rotfl:

DH & I are off to reload the car so I will be back shortly with an additional set of numbers :rotfl:

  • Last post of the day :j

The two carloads of stuff is now one carload of stuff :T:rotfl: & will go to the Tip tomorrow. Good job too as DSis is only allowed 21 more trips to the Tip :rotfl: We need to save several trips for the stuff - furniture etc that doesn’t sell!

    F253 - F256 Boxes filled with cardboard/paper/books to Tip
F257 Knackered suitcase filled with general rubbish to Tip
F258 - F262 Boxes of general rubbish to Tip
F263 Plastic toy table to Tip

Everyone sitting down with a cuppa - it is extremely hot apparently went up to 26C :T now a balmy 22C

Will probably potter around trying to finish off the 2nd kitchen - lots of work surface to clear + 1.5 double cupboards to empty & a large table to clear. If we can break the back of that then we can pick the next small room or cupboard of DOOM - before tackling the larger rooms. :o:eek::o

    Onwards & upwards :rotfl:

:o We didn!!!8217;t do any pottering - we all just collapsed.:o

Today the 8th carload went to the Tip

    F264 - F273 Boxes & Bags of general rubbish/cardboard/metals etc

DSis has managed to sell a few bits to a family friend -

F274 - F295 a toy bin full of dinosaurs, four boxed toy sets, 2 Dinosaur jigsaws, a child!!!8217;s telescope, 2 deckchairs, 2 vases, 2 cuddly hand puppets, a pan, crockery serving dish & 6 mugs

    More donations to me -

    F296 - F302 Tablecloth & cloth napkins

Started on a new room, without finishing yesterday!!!8217;s room  Mind you I suppose as long as we are doing stuff it doesn!!!8217;t really matter where we are decluttering :rotfl:

Also DSis has managed to find a new home for her two cats & hopefully will be able to donate lots of sheets & towels & any cat food she has as well. She will also need to make a monetary donation as it is a cat rescue run by one lady who has confirmed that the two cats will eventually be adopted together (mum & daughter approx 10 yrs & 9 yrs old - were strays that DSis found 9 years ago :A). This is the most difficult part of the move as unfortunately where DH & I live is urban & we only have a small garden + there are at least a dozen cats around + we would not have them in the house :o. We love them to pieces but it would be unfair as they are used to an enormous house & lots of open countryside :(

See you again all you lovely declutterers :)

    527-530 old hats in recycling.
    531 some conduit
532-537 some lights. We have new ones fitted.
    538 some packaging
    539 a wine box recycled
    540 a broken tile binned.
541-543 free brochures recycled- from a couple of art exhibitions I've been to. Came home and I've read them.
544 receipts and stuff from my handbag either shredded or binned.
545-546 2 piles of MIL paperwork shredded.
547 a toaster that we have dug up from the garden binned
  • More stuff gone - the family friends brother came with OH & kids - sold a few more bits -

F303 - F315 A noisy dinosaur, 2 Sets of boules, 3 games, 3 wooden educational toys, a cuddly toy, a toy truck with men in who drill, hammer etc (for the little girl) & a small box full of plastic cake decorations

Also gave away two black bin bags of boys teenage clothes & two large boxes of English children’s books - the friend will go through & pick what he wants for his daughter it his boys are more interested in playing outdoors (he is teaching English to all three of his kids :)) . WThe books he doesn’t want are being donated to the local school (they teach a bit of English) & any they don’t want will be donated to the library :) so that takes the number to F319.

Off to bed now (the iPad only works downstairs :( so can’t post from bed :rotfl: )

    Bon nuit
