2014 to 2018 Cookbooks (cs)
Woohoo :j:j:j:j:j:j
(The above challenge was completed by end September, so we started counting again - next post!! )
Hi all. Hope everyone enjoyed Christmas and didn't find themselves too cluttered up again after all your great efforts. We have been deliberately downsizing Christmas in an attempt to gain control over the stuff in our home, and it seems to have been successful this year - very little to go out to CS. My DS (14 yo) actually asked for 'That Kondo Book' for her birthday, so maybe we'll appear on that thread one day. :rotfl:
One bedroom is nearly finished, and we have now cleared and started painting the other. New furniture needed for that one so (with a bit of luck) should be straight in about a month. We decluttered Christmas cards, wrapping paper and crackers from stash accumulated from previous years (didn't count it though - doh!!)
Back to the figures - we set a target of 400 for the end of the year which I don't think we'll reach, but will be back to start again in 2019 anyway.

Hello All
I am having a slow but steady potter about doing some post-Christmas decluttering. Cards all down and recycled as they were annoying me, gift tags made from them where possible, in Christmas wrapping box for next year. DD and DS have unpackaged pressies and put them away, packaging all in recycling. Easier now they are older, not as much. Although DS has enough aftershave to open branch of Boots. DD has had a good cull of old make up, to make room for new. I've had a sort out in kitchen cupboards to make room for food and drink gifts. Going to have a shower and put clean comfies on, then tackle putting 2 baskets of clean laundry away.

Hi fellow declutterers
I did it - I have started a new thread ‘2019 - A Clutter Free Life’
I know, I know it is a bit early but I just wanted to start a new thread - just to prove to myself that I could :rotfl:
I am going to spend the last 4 days of 2018 creating a plan of attack which will include new decluttering (especially tackling the understairs cupboard of Doom & the last of the French crates); revisiting areas already decluttered; menu planning; being a bit more creative in the kitchen; using up freezer stocks - defrosting/rearranging/relisting; rearranging the larder & Brexit cupboard; deciding on a bathroom design & getting quotes for the work & of course the decorating :rotfl: Also need to make time for the fun things - visiting family & friends, weekends away, holidays, knitting, baking.
I am hoping to see all our 2018 posters on the new 2019 thread- nearly one hundred of us
(and yes I did count :rotfl: ) - some only posted a couple of times & others like moi who posted frequently :rotfl::o
Hope everyone has a great New Year’s Eve & I will ‘fingers crossed’ see you on the new thread - pleeeaase :rotfl:Be Kind. Stay Safe. Break the Chain. Save Lives. ⭐️2025 Savings Pot Challenge: As a monthly amount, running total = £299.00
