Candygirl I'm ever so sorry to read about ur loss
Haven't really done anything in the past couple of days as I'm sure MrsSD passed her cold around as I've been full of cold the last few days!!!!
However I am laying claim to
*329 vegetarian sausagesx2 that had taken up permanent residence from when DD was a vege-now
eaten
*330 plastic packaging put into the recycling after being attacked by the cats and deflated
*331 an old cat toy mouse that has done the rounds around the house which isnt played with-now in
the bin
Should be a good weekend for my totals as I'm offloading presents-i will be able to see more space, have more batteries to be recycled and more plastic packaging to go.

1. IF I NOTICE SOME SMALL TASK NEEDS DOING - I WILL DO IT IMMEDIATELY
2. I WILL LEAVE A ROOM TIDIER THAN WHEN I WENT IN - WITHOUT HIDING THE CLUTTER EXCEPT for the wardrobe room which is currently the storage room (sr)
3. THE LAST WASHING UP OF THE DAY WILL BE PUT AWAY BEFORE I GO TO BED
Happy Kitties, I wondered where my cold had gone:T on getting items out - I am especially impressed by the vegetarian sausages :rotfl:
After a successful Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday were basically ‘me’ days - knitting, paperwork & puzzle magazines :rotfl: although I made soup on Wednesday & I did go shopping on Thursday
Wednesday, DH started to make a garden table :rotfl: - once completed we can clean, oil & put away the expensive table :rotfl: Thursday DH had a check up at the eye clinic - his eye is coming along nicely & he has a final appointment in 5 weeks time.
DSis was unwell on Wednesday but recovered by Thursday.
Hm Spag Bol on Wednesday, Sausages, mash, fried onions & baked beans on Thursday
Re my three mantras over the last 2 days: aired & made bed; washed up; worktops washed down; filled sugar bowl & coffee jar; tightened toilet flush handle; watered plants; did some shredding; general tidying

If those vegetarian sausages had of stayed any longer they would have been demanding bed and board and i would have been charging them full keep they were here for that long:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Ur cold Mrs SD is also making itself at home, never have I sneezed so much:eek: Kept a toilet roll in the kitchen for my nose only to find the youngest cat had attacked it several times like it was the enemy of the state or something :rotfl::rotfl:
Welcome to the newbies, it is really an inspiring thread.Decluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I've just taken:
5 large plant pots
2 curtain rails
1 large rug to the dump. By foot so feeling a bit knackered. Pleased though.
I might manage to stop at the cs with some things this afternoon.0 -

DH finished weatherproofing the garden tub, made a rack for his hammers & continued working on the garden table he is making :T
DSis out for a couple of hours & made her own dinner, as she didn’t fancy fishfinger sandwiches

1166 more shredding done. It's never ending.
1167 old bag of DH
1168 an old kettle without a lead.
1169-1172 small toys binned. These were from the lift as I had to find the wallpaper stripper. It was dark otherwise I may have found more stuff to throw away.
1173-1174 candlesticks sold and so posted
1175-1176 bubble wrap and envelopes used to send candlesticks.
1177 old tea towel binned. DS2 had cleaned the oven with it and I don't think I would ever get it relatively clean. It probably had more holes in than material.0 -
To go to the cs today:
3 sturdy, open-topped containers
4 picture frames
some coat hangers
1 piggy bank.0 -
Managed to clear out my bed side tables: threw some rubbish away, moved a few bits to more sensible places. Finally decided to take my DAB radio to the charity shop. I've been hanging on to it for too long, because i ended up not using it as much as I thought I would so kept feeling like I didn't get my money's worth out of it. Silly really, I've gone more hi-tech now, so that radio simply doesn't serve me; better to let it go to a better home.
Also got a nice surprise when I opened a suitcase that I thought I'd need to empty, to find that it is already empty, hurrah!0 -
I've just taken two bin bags of shoes, clothes and towels to the cs. Got a bag of books and dvds to go too.0
