*227 cardboard tubing now in recycling

*228 unicorn bag that was DD many years ago. Had been washed for CS but ended up just hanging
off the end off the radiator forever and it took a beating every time someone went past it.
The strap finally broke on it so now in the bin

Still very much in tortoise mode.

  • 1. IF I NOTICE SOME SMALL TASK NEEDS DOING - I WILL DO IT IMMEDIATELY

    2. I WILL LEAVE A ROOM TIDIER THAN WHEN I WENT IN - WITHOUT HIDING THE CLUTTER EXCEPT for the wardrobe room which is currently the storage room (sr)

    3. THE LAST WASHING UP OF THE DAY WILL BE PUT AWAY BEFORE I GO TO BED

Frogletina, Rootle & Happy Kitties - well done - every item out is a win :T

DH was the only one who did any work today :T - DH has put together the raised/table top plant bed, built a wooden step for the window cleaner to get over the back fence, he has put up wooden boards in the shed - ready for hooks etc to hang garden tools, he has started to lay the flooring in the shed & also scarified the front lawn - as well as doing a bit more tidying in the garage.

Re my three mantras - aired & made bed; filled sugar bowl; washing up done as & when; worktops washed down; general tidying

The day to day decluttering has generated

C399 - C401 Non recyclable - plastic bag, large piece of plastic packaging, plastic pot - Binned
C402 - C405 Tin, two milk cartons, plastic bottle - Rinsed & recycled
C406 - C407 Cardboard packaging, small cardboard box dismantled - Recycled

May your decluttering mojo be strong :rotfl:

I was slightly embarrassed with my pants decluttering post and then spotted others talking about it too which made me feel better/normal!

  • 341 cardboard boxes from garage to dump
342 daffodils from pots to flower bed and pots to gardencentre pile
    342 books to CS
Not much I admit but slowly getting near target which I might extend from 365 to 500.

And yes, these days pants are not of the quality they once were and I too have had to clear out the tatty ones. Look back to a very early post, if you don't believe me. We declutterers must now have pants drawers we can be proud off.
