Barclays partner finance query

Hi,
I am looking to settle a HP agreement with barclays partner finance is the terms are not particularly favourable.
I have taken out a 30 month 0% credit card to do this.
I have called barclays and they state they accept payments by CC, however there is a 1.5% charge, which still leaves me better off.
Does anyone know if this will count as a purchase or balance transfer (or cash advance)
Purchases and balance transfers are 0% for 30 months. however a balance transfer attracted a 2.75% fee which erodes the benefit.
However, if this counts as a cash advance then there's no 0% period and i'd be very substantially worse off.
Your thoughts would be appreciated!

Probably depends on the processing rules imposed by the card issuer, and since you haven't told us who that is...?0

Card issuer is Santander0

Having a quick look, it appears you have the Everyday CC - it would be classed as a purchase and incur the 1.5% charge from BPF too.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Budgeting & Bank Accounts, Credit Cards, Credit File & Ratings and Energy boards.
