  • Morning all

    Thanks for the thread Judi.

Hugs to all those in need.

Very windy here we are rocking from side to side but at least it's not raining yet.

Judi, my hubby won't eat a healthy diet, I've now taken to cooking two meal, one for him and one for me.

I've no idea what we are doing today, I will put the washing machine on and mop the floors and I need to decide what to cook later.

    Have a good day everyone.
    Hugs Hester

    Good morning

FBO hope you are staying strong
Holly Happy new year lovely and enjoy your time with your brother

Still pretty dark here and pretty miserable by all accounts as I found out putting the bins out. Slept well but always have a panic wake up on the day the bin men come as they vary the time and day and my brain insists this is an important worry....I despair of myself sometimes :rotfl:

Had a great day out with girls yesterday and my friend was spoilt rotten by everyone which she was really taken aback by :) shes such a lovely lady and adds so much wisdom to our group. had a cheese and bacon burger which was lush.

Today is the usual Saturday so my befriending call then over to James martins for brunch :D Could do with a kitchen tidy but Ill see what else distracts me first :o

All signs of christmas have disappeared (bar the monster of a turkey in the freezer:cool:) so its time to get on with my 2018 plans now

Anyway have a great day all and hugs to all of you having challenges :A

    Morning all

Blustery here and has been raining most of the night sunny for now though, I have a wash on and may hang it out for a while.

Going to have a tidy round this morning and then OH wants to nip to a local new massive hardware shop which has opened up, so I may nip into home sense to have a look at the sale while we are there.

Going to make some strangled eggs a la Jackie O after this and then start to take the decs down we don't have a lot up but I am back at work next week so want things back to normal.

Will have to do some shopping at some point ready for lunches next week.

FBO hope you are ok xx

    Have good days all xx
  • Pillow cases I can cope with, it's the duvet cover that leaves me needing CPR, it's king size and there is nowhere on the boat where I can shake it out.

    Hey everyone,

Another one here who had a rough night, bad headache woke me up and then just dozed until my alarm went off at 6.30, might go back to bed at some point to try and catch up.
We were all given a month's notice at the yard yesterday so 14 owners now looking for a new home for their horses in the same area, not good at all. Am gutted as Lulu has settled in so well and now we have to move again :(
Hugs to all with worries and cares, get well wishes to all poorlies x
  • Morning. I had a restless night. DH on nights and he texted at 0757 to say he was just heading into surgery so goodness knows when I’ll see him.

They are going to try and see what, if any brain activity my cousin has today. She’s been on life support and in a drug induced coma since Wednesday so they don’t even know if she can breathe on her own. Horrible as it sounds, it might be kinder if she can’t and there is no decision to be made. I can’t imagine what her parents are going through at the moment - it’s her 31st birthday on Monday.

I am going to do a bit of shopping and then probably hibernate with the TV. The house is a tip, but it will wait. I just need to keep DH fed.

Have a good day people. Dumpling I hope Becky has settled.

FBO I agree with your sentiment re your cousin. I know it sounds horrible, but ultimately it might be for the best. Thinking of you xxx
