Humph ... having waited in all day I've just had an email from Amazon to say they hadn't dispatched my hoover after all and it should be here sometime before Thursday  I have been on chat and they said they'll offer me a free month of prime ... I told them I had signed up for a free month of prime on boxing day and am not impressed with it so far ...

In other news, the £89 profit bet has finished, so it is confirmed that I made £89 after all :D I'm just waiting for a couple of free bets to come in now that the qualifiers have settled. Will update once they're in and I've done the bets needed for them :)

So last night was a really nice evening, ds was given a 1000 piece puzzle of the underground map for Christmas and we sat together and started doing that. Then he said he was going to bed, which was very unusual for him - I normally have to nag and nag and its usually midnight during the holidays before he'll give in. Anyway, he went to sleep, then at 11.50 I woke up to hear him projectile vomiting :( He didn't make it to the bathroom in time which is unheard of for him, even as a small child he always managed to get there in time if he felt ill, (he had a thing about being clean, long gone now, he's a complete soap-dodger given half the chance these days). Anyway, he has carried on being sick about every 20 minutes from midnight until 9.30 this morning  He's finally gone off to sleep now, I'm hoping it lasts :o:o

I've disinfected the bathroom to within an inch of its life, his bedroom is just about done, the washing mountain is enormous once again and the washing machine has made a start on the first load.

I texted his Dad to see if they were okay as it obviously wasn't what we had for dinner as I had the same and am absolutely fine - he replied saying they were fine but before ds came back they spent yesterday morning with his girlfriends sister and her daughter and they were both sick with a bug the day before :mad:He is so so thoughtless, considering his own daughter is only 18 months old thank goodness she hasn't picked it up too

So, today will be spent mostly cleaning for me and catching up on sleep for both of us :o

Amazon have emailed to say the hoover will be delivered today now ...

Hoovers arrived, much quieter than the old one, fabulous suction, off to do the stairs and upstairs now. I've taken the old one and the box from the new one to the tip already too.

Yep it is a shark, I love it so far :D It fits in the airing cupboard, is very flexible, all good so far :)

Ds did eat some toast earlier as he felt hungry at last, but promptly brought it back again :o He is asleep again at the moment. So frustrated with his Dad, why would you knowingly choose to be around people who have a bug??
