Yes you're probably right Beanie, I think the thing that is getting to me at the moment is more the realisation that I have no-one to fall back on. No-one else to think of things, everything falls to me if that makes sense? So for example, the back gate needs fixing. That'll be me that needs to earn the money to pay for it, that'll be me that needs to find someone to come and fix it. The cars MOT is due next month, that'll be me to sort then. Everything is down to me. To think about it, to pay for it, to sort it out. I know it sounds melodramatic and I've managed just fine for years but recently it's started bothering me.Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

So, as it's almost time for a New Year, I thought I'd update my SOA on here ...
Some bits need explaining;
the holiday figure is stupidly high but that's because I want it all saved by August when my finances will change (we don't go until July 2020). I know it seems a ludicrous amount to be spending but for my mental health I know it is the right thing. It will probably be the last family holiday as ds will be 17 by then.
There are a few bits I can cut back on if needed (Sky tv, Spotify), but currently these are my only 'treats', I don't drink, smoke or go out socially.

Morning all, ds is home today, so I'm going to try and get lots of little jobs finished before then. The new hoover is being delivered today and it can't come a moment too soon as the floors are looking terrible now. At least if everywhere else is already clean then it's just a case of running it round and everywhere will suddenly look 'done'
Football today, although we're not playing until tomorrow. I do have a couple of cheeky bets on today's games as well as a qualifying matched bet.
I need to go and get some bread and milk etc later, but don't want to miss the delivery guy, so that will need to wait until later.Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Remade ds' bed, washing machine is on, all Christmas stuff is upstairs waiting to go back in the loft, all rubbish is out (binmen coming today), gradually starting to feel like it's getting back under control again. I'm sure it will be a bombsite again within 5 minutes of ds returning home :rotfl:Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

It didn't take that long but I did set aside a couple of evenings to get the hang of it. I made notes, I read, read and re-read all the guides I could find on the mb board. I did a couple of dummy runs before I actually went for it, but ... it has without a doubt been the biggest and easiest money-making thing I've ever done. I am not a risk-taker whatsoever in life so I needed to be certain I knew what I was doing before I got going but I love it
It is nowhere near as lucrative as it once was but there is still plenty of money to be made in it
I've just done another qualifying bet as I got an email with an offer in it, the qualifying bet has cost me 31p whatever the result of the game, then I get a free £5 bet which should make me about £3 profit. Not a massive one but it took me literally 2-3 minutes to complete. Much more £££ than surveys and the taxman doesn't get any of it eitherMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Ds is home and seems in a pleasant mood :j He's had some lovely presents from his Dads side of the family this year.
So, nearly time to settle on the sofa with the laptop for the football, no sign of the new hoover just yet.Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
