I've spoken to the CMS (was CSA) and he has reported a change in job to them, he has 14 days to provide evidence of his income and then it will take them up to 3 months to make a new assessment

He apparently has also disputed when he has ds;he says that he has ds 2 nights a fortnight, no he doesn't!! DS goes on a Saturday and comes back on a Sunday !!!!!! ... he used to go on a Friday (many moons ago), then when he got free train travel (but only at weekends) ds started going on a saturday, now ds has a job til 6pm on a friday (3-4 hour journey to his Dads) so still goes on a Saturday. Ex wants 2 nights but ds doesn't want to go on Fridays because of his job. One year, just one year, it would be nice not to have his nonsense to deal with

£13 interest in one of my savings accounts, added to the signature

I'm quite pleased with how the year has started money-making wise, it will dry up quite quickly once I'm back at work as I don't have so much time to look for offers etc, but the motivation is definitely back ;)

This morning I am going with a friend to a David Lloyd gym for the morning, he has membership so is taking me and another friend for a freebie day out there :D It won't be free-free as I will no doubt visit the cafe, but it may hopefully inspire me to get off my butt a bit more again and get moving. A nice swim, a bit of gym and the cafe should be lovely. I'm also going to football tonight with my neighbour, another freebie :D

Back from the gym, it was lovely - we had coffee first of all and caught up, then hit the gym, burned 500ish cals on the treadmill and the cross trainer, then went for a swim and finished off with poached eggs on toast for lunch in the cafe :D I spent £10 and it was lovely and I managed to jog for 5 minutes without stopping and it wasn't too difficult, so hopefully that might inspire me to start running again ;)

3 hours now to chill, I need to clean the car out as I'm driving tonight and I can't let anyone in the car in its current state. Other than that it will be getting a load of washing in, hoovering through and completing a few surveys I think.

So at the end of my banking saga I seem to have £600 leftover. This sounds about right as I had this a few months ago and didn't get round to moving it anywhere, so, for now, I am moving it into the holiday fund. If something unexpected that I'd forgotten about turns up then I can always retrieve it, but until then it will help quite a bit with the shortfall in maintenance ;)

Football was fabulous last night, we drew 3-3, a really good game.

This morning I have had an email to say my gas/electric dd is being reduced by £8 a month :T just need to decide now whether to put this directly into the holiday fund or whether to put it in my savings for the year. I have already budgeted for the yearly savings, although it is pushing it to reach it, so I may put it in the holiday fund as that is now falling way behind.
