Today I am off to Stretch and Tone class then Body Balance class. The rest of today will be spent pottering and hopefully getting on with some bits from my list as that doesn't seem to have got going.
I did hit between 12,000 - 14,000 steps every day last week but didn't do it at the weekend. Back on it todayMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Aaaaghhh ..... just had the csa on the phone ... his payment is due today (£900) and he has phoned them and asked them to call me to see if I will accept £400 this month instead as he can't afford all of it. After much discussion ( ) with them I have stuck to my guns and refused to. I do feel bad as it will probably leave him stuck financially this month but that isn't my problem. After everything that's happened to him financially over the years he really should have sorted himself out a bit better by now. So I have said no, I want the full amount that I was told I would be getting. No doubt this will come back to bite me but it was when the guy said "He does have a mortgage to pay" that got me ... so do I but I've had to find a way over the last few months when he's contributed nothing   So, the stronger bit of me won the day and I refused to back down. It looks like some money is on its way to me over the next few days :j :jMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

No, it is not your problem indeed.
It is his responsibilty to pay for his child.
If he had being paying as he should have done then the situation would not have arisen.
Hope your DS goes to college so he has to keep paying.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Thanks Beanie, I can't believe how much it has unsettled me today
I've also just phoned the court as he has his tribunal hearing next Thursday, and I have a letter inviting me. It says I can claim travel costs back, and can claim them in advance if more than £10. I phoned them as the train ticket is going to cost £190   They said I can't claim it in advance as it has to be done 2 weeks in advance, and it can take up to 6 weeks to reclaim it
Even more glad I didn't back down now on the payment :cool:Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Yep, it's because I need to travel early morning (and is a 330 mile round trip ). I would drive it but I don't want to drive into a city centre that I haven't driven in before, it makes me stressy if it's a busy place, and I wouldn't have a clue where to park etc. At least on a train I can listen to my music, read a book etc. It's a lot of money to have to wait 6 weeks to get back though :cool:Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Could you maybe research a park & ride on the outskirts of the city that you are going to?I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. I could do, but it will take me approx 3.5 hours to drive there according to AA routeplanner, and that's not allowing for rush hour. I need to be there by 10am so will be an early start even if I drive door to doorMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
