Really well done on sticking to your guns. Utter bloody check to say he has a mortgage to pay! And WHAT? I guess you are living for free then yeah? no bills. !!!!!!.
Sorry, I don't post often but that made me so angry!!Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
I'm thinking DS' dad should have thought about his previous commitments before he started another family.....
I honestly don't understand people who don't consider the finances when planning to have children, make sure you can afford to live on what you have before you bring a baby in to the world.
I'm thinking that he will still only pay £400 as they cant make him pay more than he wants, they can tell him to but he doesn't have to. I know it will just add to the debt and eventually he'll end up with an attachment to his wages but that doesn't help you in the short term.0 -
EE - he now has an attachment of earnings, so the money will be coming out directly, but the csa were prepared to send £500 of it back if I agreed  I totally agree about the starting another family - did I mention his girlfriend is pregnant again??
Buffy - he has a mortgage to pay ... on his house that he rents out! He live in his girlfriends house, so he really isn't as short of money as he makes out
So, in other news ... last night, guess who turned up on my doorstep??Today is my birthday so Mr S thought he's surprise me and come over so we could wake up together today
I got a couple of books from him, a big chocolate cake and red roses :happyhear
Going out for coffee and cake with Mum today, then out for dinner with Mr S tonightLife is good right now

You really won't believe this one .....
Today I've had yet another letter from the CSA ... they've recalculated his payments and they will now be £147 a month, from the end of September. They also have said that he has ds 2 nights a fortnight AGAIN!!! I've phoned them, they can't access the details and can see that they had agreed that he doesn't have ds 2 nights a fortnight, but can't see why the system says that?!
When I asked them to check that the payment they spoke to me about yesterday is on its way to me they said there is no payment in the system and the next due payment is the end of September for the new amount?!!
Someone who can access the details will be calling me back within 24 hours. Bring on the court case next week ....Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Another one here who reads your diary but hardly ever posts.....
Just wanted to say how lucky your ds is to have you. You obviously work hard to make sure he doesn't miss out and has a stable home. It sounds like he's a lovely lad and that's all you.
Belated happy birthday!0 -
So the CSA didn't call me back again today - I phoned them back this afternoon and after a very long call finally made a little bit of progress ...
They told me that the payment that was due this week isn't happening now because of his new job, and that they legally have to leave it a month when someone gets a new job so their hands are tied. With regards to the shared care they tried telling me that I hadn't given them the requested information and therefore they had gone with what the ex had claimed ... I fired back the dates I had submitted the information and after much checking of their systems they admitted that I had done so but someone had filed it under a 'notes' tab rather than on their main screen, so it had been missed. This means that he owes me a bit more money, backdated to October. Let's just add it on to the £2650 you already owe me in arrears then shall we?
I'm ready for a fight in court on Thursday, bring it on. I've even named and shamed on my Facebook page. Haven't done that for the past 14 years but I truly have had enough of his game-playing nowMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
