I haven't done yet Beanie, (and was cursing them again today when I hoovered). I will call them when I'm on half-term (break up on friday), as they are open mon-fri 9-5 and I just don't get the time / inclination after school.

So tonight I have come home to a bumper envelope from the maintenance people - it's copies of all the documents for his appeal case. I can't understand half of it but it does appear that he lost his job in October and has had several jobs since then.

Ds also then announced that his Dad told him a month ago that he has a new job but he's not to tell me as I'm chasing him for money   I make such an effort not to tell ds about any of it, he doesn't need to know about that, I don't want to be clouding his views of his Dad despite my thoughts on him ....

So we'll see what that all brings, I'm guessing it means that no matter what the appeal says he doesn't have any money anyway so I'm unlikely to see any ...

In other news tomorrow is run 3 of week 5 - this run is a massive step-up from the previous ones, tomorrow I have to run for 20 minutes straight   I'm quite nervous but also excited as it will feel like I'm properly back running again if I can do it. I know I can do it, albeit very slowly, it's a psychological barrier more than a physical one. I will report back tomorrow and let you know how I get on :D

So I managed the run on Thursday without too much bother, it was definitely all in the mind :) Week 6 starts tomorrow ;)

Today Mr S is coming round to paint the lounge ceiling, ds has gone to his Dads (first time since before Easter). The house is fairly tidy and clean, I have a week off work and life is good :D

Hope ds's visit goes well. Its awful that his dad would say that about you when you are actually entitled to the money and it's yours!

So, Mr S came round on Saturday to paint the lounge ... and left this morning :happyhear

It wasn't the plan, but it was nice; we're not getting back together - just mates, neither of us want the relationship palava again - was just a bit of fun. And the lounge got painted and looks fab :D He does need to come back again at some point as he needed tall ladders to do the stairs / landing, but the main lounge area is done and looks great ;)

I've been for my run today, should've been yesterday but was occupied so to speak ;)

£20 profit on a matched bet today :)

£2 profit from a matched bet, end of the month banking done - it seems I'm in credit which I probably shouldn't be, so will wait and see if there is anything else going out of the account over the next couple of days that I've forgotten about :)

Today has been spent pootling indoors, doing bits and pieces of housework - I've cleaned the filters of the hoover and unblocked the rollers (no wonder it didn't pick anything up). Not sure it's totally fixed yet, still need to check a few other bits but it did seem better when I tried it earlier.

I went to Home Bargains and stocked up on cleaning stuff, popped into Waitrose and got a few bits and pieces. I've put stuff away in the garage, deep-cleaned the dishwasher, doing some washing at the minute and generally just pottered. I love doing that. Just me, some music, a cup of tea and all the time in the world :)

Morning, I've been for my run this morning, it was fine, but it was also the last one that has walking segments in it. From now on it's running all the way :o:o

I've taken Mum to get some cash from the machine, put the rubbish / recycling out, tidied the lounge and am now sat in the conservatory with a cup of coffee and can plan my day :)

Tonight ds is going go-karting with mates from work, so I am going to the pub with Mr S to watch the Europa League final :)

Oh, and last night something truly miraculous happened ... ds *voluntarily* ran himself a bath AND had a shave
