Surprise surprise, no-one from the csa called me back, so I called again yesterday. The person I'd spoken to had forgotten to log that I needed a call back :mad: :mad: The person I spoke to yesterday has said there is nothing they can do about him not paying as he has put in an appeal. The appeal could take 6 months. I was told a couple of weeks ago that if he didn't make the full payment in May they would be able to collect direct from his wages. Now they say this isn't the case and I shouldn't have been told that. Someone else is calling me on Monday .....

In other news;

£3 from a scratchcard offer this morning, £4 from a casino offer.
Bathroom, conservatory and kitchen have been cleaned, lounge is tidy, bedrooms are tidy, just need to hoover through later.

Ds is at work at the moment for a couple of hours, then we're off to Ikea. This weekend there is a big food festival in the nearest town and the roads will be gridlocked, so I'm staying well away from there.

Ds has 7 GCSE exams next week so everything's a bit stressful at home. This weekend will mainly be spent trying to keep things calm.

So I had a voicemail this morning from the csa asking me to call them ... half an hour on hold again, got through to a pleasant guy who said the message that had been logged on the system for when I call back was to tell me they can't chase him for payments while there is an appeal process on ... I explained, yet again, that I'd had this conversation yesterday, so not sure why they were ringing me to tell me that again. He then looked at the case and said he can't understand why they can't collect the money while the process is going on as that is their usual practice, except for exceptional situations ... he then tried to put me through to someone from 'my team' but surprise, surprise, yet again, they weren't available, so again will call me back on Monday.

The ex's parents are down this way in a week or two, I might just have to bump into them and enlighten them about their darling son ... again!!

Morning I've been for my run, week 4 run 1. It was harder today, still only doing small amounts of running but am feeling it in my legs. Shows me how unfit I am, although at least I know I'm finally doing something about it. Glad it's done for today though, now I can focus on what else needs doing

So, tomorrow is day one of proper exam season - ds is stressed and is dealing with it by avoiding any mention of exams or revision I will try and get bits done with him during the day but it's a careful balance of getting some done and not tipping him over into a meltdown.

I also want to get the front garden tidied, clean the outside of the conservatory, chill out but mainly watch the football this afternoon

Shock, horror ... no phonecall back today from the CSA. I've just phoend them only to be told there's no-one from my team in for the rest of the day so I won't get a call back and no-one there can help either :mad: :mad: :mad: If i want to complain I can do so in writing or via their online site ... just went on that to complain and it locked me out after one attempt of logging in :cool: :cool: Some days I think I have the worst job in the world, but then I realise I could work for them instead

Finally ... I got to speak to someone at the csa who knew the answers!! So, it will still take a while but the wheels are in motion to force him to pay. Watch this space
