In the end Mr S came here and we had pizza and nibbles for dinner, watched the Europa League final and made the most of some time without ds around ;) I also managed to make £68 on matched bets tonight, happy happy days! :j :j

Thanks Beanie, it's been a pretty decent week so far, just don't want to go back to work next week :)

    So, plans for the remainder of half-term;

    End of month banking
Pop to Primark for a few new t-shirts
Sort out garage / box up car boot sale stuff
Possibly do said car boot on Sunday, weather depending
Do a Tesco online food order
    Make £11 from somewhere
Do some work for my cards
Clean the car inside and out

Yep EE, he's definitely improved my mood this week :rotfl::rotfl:
We both know the relationship stuff didn't work, and we've talked about it quite a bit this week; we are both very different but we do click and are good friends. We went wrong last time because we lost sight of having fun and very quickly it because about the kids / family / work / mundane life stuff. Neither of us want a proper relationship, we're both perfectly happy with having a bit of fun now and then. I'm fully aware he chats to / dates other people, he's a very sociable kinda guy, in fact I'd love to have just an ounce of his confidence, but we've set some rules and are both happy enough with things as they are.

I am however already starting to get the "going back to school blues". I'm just starting to relax and enjoy this week and yet already work is creeping back in to my thoughts :(

I'm going to go and have a bath in a bit and put my pj's on, then sit in the conservatory with the laptop and my notebook and make some new plans and review the current ones to see how the year is going so far.

Tomorrow is the last day of the month and, as of today, there has still been no maintenance money this month. I need to phone the csa back on Monday or Tuesday to confirm if he pays anything this month.

And since we were together Mr S has changed his work, he still does painting but does more physical work on sites now too. He has lost weight and toned up massively, so that combined with being 15 years younger than me is motivating me to keep to my running and get back on the fitness again ;):)

So, the plan for 2019 was roughly as follows:

    * Get my brothers fund up to £20,000 by the end of August
    * Use maintenance money to cover the holiday fund

However as we know, that all changed due to the ex not playing ball with his payments. I have, so far, managed to get my brothers fund up to £18,000 (once I've found £8 ;)), and hopefully over the next few weeks there might be some progress on the maintenance front.

So ... I've decided that I am going to leave my brothers fund at £18,000 for now and concentrate on getting the holiday paid for. I can chuck everything at that and then once that's done then I can get back to my brothers fund and plod on with getting that paid off.

I need to go and update some spreadsheets etc, the holiday is £4,000 in total and I already have got £1,866 of it. So, that leaves £2,134 to find. Watch this space ;)
