It's been that way a while Beanie but its not going up much at the moment due to the ex not paying as much as he is meant to. In fact, his money is usually in my account on the 1st/2nd of the month and so far there's nothing for this month and none showing as pending either

In better news, I noticed my Nectar balance had disappeared this week, just been on their live chat and someone has spent all my points in Scotland this week  They agreed that I probably couldn't be much further from Scotland and they have set me up a new account and have given me 2,000 points free for the hassle (£10) :T :T Very happy with that :D

£4 profit from a matched bet

When I got up this morning I decided to see if I could find £50 today - not doing too bad so far; £5 Amazon voucher, £10 Nectar points and £4 from a matched bet. Off to look for some more :D

I agree last week was hard. Think it's because it was a five day week after two four day ones.

    Well done on the football!

Do you remember the new Shark hoover I bought at New Year? Well after a few months of battling with it I have emailed them to complain - the thing is absolutely not fit for purpose. The first few times were fine but ever since it has been utterly useless. It picks stuff up but it doesn't make it into the cylinder, it just gets stuck in the pipe, causing it all to get too hot. When you turn it off it spits loads of muck back out, meaning you need to get the dustpan out to clear up then you spend 10 minutes trying to unblock the pipe before the next time. I dread having to use the damn thing, it makes me so angry, it's a decent make but an utter waste of money. Having googled it it seems lots of other people have the same problem with it and the standard response is to unblock the pipe. Now I wouldn't mind doing that now and then if something big had gone up it, but every single time I hoover one room?!?

Morning all, I managed a nice li-in this morning. Today ds has gone off to work, I will spend it mainly pottering about, catching up on some housework and gardening, hopefully finding some ways to make a few pennies along the way.

So far I have folded the clean washing, made the beds, done the first load of washing, cleaned the conservatory, tested ds on his French speaking, (exam tomorrow), put some clean washing away, filled the dishwasher and put it on and put the rubbish and recycling out.

I need to figure out what meals we're having which day too as there is plenty of food in the fridge but I need to plan what we're having when. Today will be lamb tagine as I got a load of lamb rump reduced that needs using :D
