I realise it must sound as if I have a bottomless freezer or an armageddon cupboard! Nope, there's only me and it's amazing how long it takes to get through a bag of petits pois... :rotfl:‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

I am trying to only buy fridge stuff and use up ingredients here. I have made up a large batch of soup for freezing and am in the process of using nearly the last of the veg on making some veggie burgers, have also made some spicy lentil dip, which is just brown lentils, fried onions, garlic, tomato puree and some curry paste (blitzed). I have done a meal plan, so I 'hopefully' stick to trying to use stuff up.
BREAKFASTS - Veggie Smoothies With Green Powders OR Overnight Oats OR Breakfast Muffins
LUNCHES – Soup, Onion & Garlic Or Spicy Red Lentil & Tomato
DINNER
Mon - Charcoal Noodles, Mushrooms, Courgettes, Onions, Meat-Free Sausage & Mushroom Sauce
Tue – Same as Above (leftovers)
Wed - Veggie Casserole
Thu - Spicy Veggie Mince Wraps With Salad
Fri – Meat Free Meatballs in a Creamy Mustard Sauce & Pumpkin Noodles
Fri - Veggie Mince With Cauliflower Rice0 -
Shopping this week so far:- Aldi £15.56 and Asda £43.53. This includes all my stuff for work rather than picking up odd bits at the Sainsbury's Local and paying through the nose.

This week I spent £33.66 out of the £35. There were a few pricey items in there but I found some ys stuff to help stay in budget. Have discovered that Mr S does cans of soup for 50p which are gluten and dairy free so I'm set for the predicted cold snap."A thousand candles can be lit from a single candle without shortening the life of that candle."
I still am Puddleglum - phew!0 -
Spent another £3 - all on junk food I didn't need and shouldn't really be eating as I need to shift some weight! A £1 bag of sweets on Sunday (which got eaten that night), and 2 bags of baked biscuit snacky things yesterday (shouldn't have hopped off the bus home from work for a browse in the city centre
)
