Looking at your other posts, you certainly do like bullying other forum members.
Putting aside my perceived bullying, I think you’re f*ucked. Given the advice in post #12 you need to provide evidence of your claim and you’ve admitted you no longer have it.
Further to this, it also sounds like you’ve forgotten about NIC payments AND have made erroneous claims (i.e., mileage and clothing). I don’t work for HMRC but this sounds as dodgy as fcuk, especially the ‘I have no records but am telling the truth, Gov, honest’ part of your story.0 -
I just googled CIS Tax and in the space of maybe 10 minutes have gleaned enough information from the HMRC website to be able to understand the TAX and NI side of what you are doing.
If you are capable of figuring out your expenses or using an Accountant as you have done in the past. A chargeable cost to your business. Yes business even as someone registered on the CIS scheme because if you were not you would have had 30% deducted.
It comes down to the fact that you have dropped a clanger and I think you are trying to find the easy way out of paying what you owe!3.795 kWp Solar PV System. Capital of the Wolds0 -
OP, it can't be easy to read some of the things you're being told, but there are two things I'd suggest you do straight away:
1. Speak to your doctor and/or an organisation like the Samaritans about your mental health
2. Speak to Business Debtline, as suggested in post 33 above.
Have you read the link in post 37? I'd recommend that to you too.
When did you sell the laptop? As someone has already said, can you get it back?
Then you need to get serious help in dealing with your tax situation.0 -

I am still not a ‘business’. Most ‘businesses’ have employees working for them. I work alone, for a company. Just the tax side is different like a i stated.
My company deduct was my tax for me. They deduct 20% out of my wages0 -

When did you sell it? HMRC are likely to ask that question too.0 -

Firstly just wanted to say sorry your in this mess ..
I would suggest that going bankrupt should be a last resort- You need to sort out as much of this as you can asap and maybe you my find you dont owe as much as they say.
I understand you sold the laptop that had all your information on but it might be worth contacting your "employer" to see wether they can provide you with information on what you were paid and what tax/ni has already been paid on your behalf ... also worth contacting the bank for copy statements as that should give you an idea of what amounts you claimed back and possible expenditure.
I understand you have mental health issues as and appreciate that things may not be easy for you but its time to deal with this now and going bankrupt a second time is not going to help in that essence.
I hope you can sort stuff

I'm afraid you are a business that is selling your work to this overarching company that are hiring you (see Gov.uk website!).
You'd be better off listening to the advice on this thread, or kindly approaching somebody on here that might take a look for you at a better rate, rather than getting aggressive towards people that are trying to help you.
Best of luck with it all!0 -
you are clearly in a mess at the moment, first of all please contact your doctor, i dont care what anyone on here says.....Health comes first ( i do worry when i see people using the suicide word)
Secondly, if you have no money for an accountant, could you borrow it from a friend, family member maybe??? If not then you need to sit down and work out all your incomings and outgoings, if you have credit cards/loans then ring them and explain your health situation and ask them for a 3 month hold on your account so you can get yourself sorted, alot of companies will agree to this. Then you can put what you would of been paying towards an accountant
If that is not an option then i would at the very least contact Step Change regarding the tax debts, they may even be able to talk to HMRC on your behalf, if not the Citizens advice bureau certainly will
Have you also tried sending HMRC your incoming and outgoings sheets to show that you are in hardship, also a letter from your doctor about your mental health, this may help with a token payment plan for now until you have saved up enough for an accountant0
