  • I finally get paid Monday my pay slip came in today and I am so excited to say that including my loan payment I will be paying £649 to debt this month.

I got an extra bonus this month as we do every feb and my payrise takes hold this month. I'm going to add £200 to my emergency fund which will give me £300 in total so far. I have given myself money to spend throughout the month for entertainment but I do not plan to use that I will save that if i can but at the same time I do need to get out the house sometimes.

feeling super happy, did 3 days at the gym this week too and still not smoking :)

So my Lloyds credit card now stands at £2786.70, feel so much better that its under £3000.

I get paid from my second job tomorrow which is £72 im not sure whether to pay all of that the Lloyds or whether to split it and pay half to Lloyds and half to emergency fund.

Had a really good day on PA aswell, up to £11 now!

planning to do some more surveys tonight to get my balances up. Any extra made will be split between my emergency fund and the Lloyds credit card. :)

I got paid £72 today from my second job so I actually paid it to the credit card that has my wedding dress on purely because that is why I took the second job in the first place!

Also had even more success on PA today and I'm up to £15 now! £5 to go and then I'm cashing out and it's all going to Lloyds credit card:)

Not a huge amount to report, keeping a track of all spending this month so I can ensure I'm not wasting money anywhere.

I switched my bank account to Clydesdale when they were doing the £250 bonus and still hadn't received it so I complained and they tried to tell me I hadn't met the switching criteria which I knew I had.... so I argued my case and they are paying it this.week :)

Another payment has come off my loan aswell so I will add up my total debt tomorrow and update my signature.

Slow on the surveys at the moment but I'm carrying on!

So this week I really needed my hair doing - I have dark hair naturally but was having it lightened at the hairdressers at £80 a time. That was the old me, the new me decided to go back dark but I did it myself costing a much better £6. :)

I worked out my total debt and it's now £13,642.75, I'm happy with my progress baring in mind back in Jan I added my £1500 wedding dress payment to debt which was planned!

still doing surveys and waiting on payday to make some more debt payments:)

I went to the stop smoking clinic wednesday and got the tablets champix- no cost at all as I don't pay for prescriptions. :)

Looking forward to paying some more off of my debt, it feels like it's been such a long month.

Still plugging away at the survey sites but again they are slow at the moment!

    Hi Laurag89

Just read your diary, your doing brilliantly. How's the not smoking going, I feel like I have tried so many times to stop I don't know what to do anymore. I tried Champax but got really depressed although it was the best thing I tried ... might be worth trying again seeing if it feels different this time.
    Debt: £14,000 now £2169
    Emergency Fund: 1000/ £1000

Thank you for taking the time to read through :)

Originally I tried patches and gum and managed 8 days but they really didn't do enough for me! Now I'm on the champix tablets and have stopped now think this is day 5 and I can't even deal with the smell of other people's ciggys anymore the smell turns my stomach. Horrible side effects but like you said they are the only thing that seem to work :(

Wooohooo finally payday on Monday, and also my birthday on Monday:)

All the things I could possibly have needed to or wanted to buy I have asked for, for my birthday so I don't need to spend anything.

Did another survey on PA today that's another £1. :)
