Survey sites are a little slow at the moment! But I will keep trying!

    Totals update:
    Very : £247.87
    First Direct Loan: £10,272.68
    Lloyds Credit Card: £3271.81

    Total: £13,792.36

I have a minimum payment due to lloyds of £32.72 this month which will bring the total down a little more, but I am going to look around the house this weekend for things I am not using to sell for more money to pay to this debt.

I get paid 3 weeks tomorrow, and i will be £180 better off from my mortgage going down. I am going to pay £100 or it to Very and then save £80 because not having any buffer is what keeps setting me back.

Both the lloyds credit card, and very are 0% but very finishes sooner. I plan to have this paid off by the end of February and I will then start to tackle Lloyds.
Total debt to pay: £14,071.41/ Remaining debt: £12,884.12: Amount Paid: £1,187.29

  • Just popped in to say well done, you’ve made a great start. I’m sure your beautiful dress is keeping you motivated. I need to find a second job, but hard around childcare abd hubby’s work. I don’t seem to have much luck with surveys ...which sites do you use?

Well done on the NSD's. Having a buffer/emergency fund is so important so I think you are right to set some aside for that. Have you set yourself a target for your buffer?

Thank you, I am trying my best.
I am working to £1000 buffer just to prevent using credit for unexpected expenses, i think i will include buffer savings in my signature because that is an important thing.

I have left it a little longer than planned to update this, but:

I am continuing with the survey sites, and I collected my wedding dress yesterday! As previously mentioned I had to pay by credit card but - My Sunday job money is going straight to that so I am not going to include it as such, because I need to use my main money to pay off this other debt!

I am going to focus on no spend days this week, and next week which will take me up till payday. Hoping to have £40 left in my account which I'm going to pay to my debts so cannot update too much before that - only my NSD'S and survey progress :)
