We have a poorly Dot.. silence reigns!!! I do not wish her to be ill more often but it is so nice when she is still and quiet!!

    Builders back next door... ggrrr...

2 hours sleep.. I went to bed angry.. not at anyone in particular.. then OH asked if we should get married .. so that was it, I was awake and no chance of going to sleep. Then Twinkle woke up.. eliminating any chance of sleep! I think we are all up for a nap later.. or now!

OH is at work until 4 so I have to tidy the kitchen by myself.. yay!

Recycling bins were emptied today so I have 1000 boxes to flatten and refill those but my house is looking much emptier upstairs!

Squeaks wardrobe filled from M&S and Next sales.. we desperately need school tights but nowhere seems to have them in stock at the moment!

Cuppa time.. which reminds me, thank you SS for my lovely mug xx

    HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY PIGGERS

    Welcome to the thread nathsmum

DH has gone back to work today but only for a couple of hours thankfully and I want to sort the house a wee bit. Was going to walk the dog but it's raining here so will wait until it stops raining before Banji goes for his walk.

Piggers - does that mean you're officially engaged now?!! I'll get my coat....

Soup made, didn't have a lot of Stilton, so added in the last of a tub of cream cheese. It is delicious. I thought about having it for breakfast.

I'm now dressed and have done the laundry shuffle on the airer. We have a short snow shower but it's stopped now so after this cuppa I'm going to venture out with the dogs.

Good morning, I so need today's list!

Belated happy birthday Piggers! Do share.....
Welcome Nathsmam. You couldn't fall amongst a more supportive bunch.
Lots of hugs to you dancemum. I'm sorry that is all that I can offer you, and even those are virtual.

Snow, snow and more of the stuff. DH is outside doing man things - ie trudging backwards and forwards.

We had a lovely Christmas Day. DD was then threatening to throw up in the evening, and again during the night, so I ended up driving on my own to see DSis and her family. I had a lovely time - DH stayed at home to be nursemaid....;). By last night she was fully recovered, it was a shame that she missed seeing her cousins for the only time in the year. Today I need to do something other than slob around. WM is on, and I'm going to iron shortly. Just having one more cuppa from DH's new coffee machine. I knew that was a good buy :rotfl:

Share? .. you can have cold germs and part ownership of a hysterical screaming toddler if you wish..

Recycling and food waste all binned.. cuppa made.. mini east refusing to eat breakfast.. hence the screaming! Why don’t we just all have a scream because we refuse to eat and so we are hungry?!

This made me giggle. My man is in bed asleep. He alternates between acting like a teenager and a 90 year old. I have sorted all the rubbish bags into paper, cardboard and plastic. Strangely enjoyable task. Found an envelope addressed to DS unopened which looks like a gift card.

Dry here, no snow, but it has been raining. As there is only me up and about I am resisting putting the heating on.

I bought DS a jumper for Christmas back in October and it turns out that is a bit small so I was all set to ebay it (thinking it was too late to send it back). Checked the website where I bought it and I have 3 months to return - happy days. So thats 3 gifts to return, will go and package them up in a minute.

Oh and DS has messaged, he needs a lift home from GFs. Better get dressed then!

As it is only me here I too am not putting the heating on. I have two layers and am flying to keep warm.

Flowers sorted and water topped up, all tables (dining, dressing, bedside, coffee..) wiped and polished.
