    Hi all,
Just been in T's and noticed that iTune$ vouchers (3 x £10 pack, £25, £50 and £100) are all on 20% off - think it's until Tuesday (sorry should've been more attentive). Anyway, that may help some of you with giftcards to buy.

John Lewis Christmas shop is live online

  • This is the time I love! When the shops starts having the Christmas online ☺️
  • I went into Matalan there just now and all their Christmas section is live. It was amazing. The baubles look fab and they've got some amazing blankets.
I got a new tree in the sale last year but couldn't get any baubles. Where's the best to get new decent deccies at reasonable price when replacing the full lot?
In Matalan I had a 3 set of wrapping paper and tags in my hand but realised they were only 2m each. I normally get a humungous wrapping paper roll in Costco that does all the presents but want to get my paper soon to start wrapping the things I've picked up already. Where do you guys think is the best place to get wrapping/tags etc? X
  • I personally think Card Factory is good value for money for Christmas Wrap

I looked at the B0ots website earlier to check out the Christmas bits, and I stumbled across some cute Scottie dog Christmas paper. If you go on their website and search for "scottie" you'll see the design for this year for paper, tags and a bag...but you'll also find what I guess is last year's design wrapping paper. 4m for £1.25 - the new stuff is 4m for £3. So I've just ordered two rolls of the old one for now before I buy more from somewhere else :)

$uperdrug have a gifting section live now too! On their homepage, scroll down and on the left you'll see "shop our new gifting range". I buy the majority of my Christmas gifts from them and M+S as I can trust their own brand presents to be cruelty free. $uperdrug are great on price and often have offers on the run up to Christmas too, which is perfect! I'm off to write down some gift ideas now :) exciting!!

Hi guys seems like forever since I was last on so hope everyone is doing ok but rl has been getting in the way but now the summer hols are nearly over :( xmas suddenly seems rather close and I'm way way behind this year.

Matalan xmas shop online is live
asda(george) has a few xmas bits online I got dgd the paw patrol xmas duvet set for her dec 1st hamper and debating about the starwars xmas jumper for the boys

did manage to bag quite a few xmassy bargains in the poundworld closure sale including a load of dog/cat xmas stockings for 20p each :j which will go towards our rescue centre xmas donation

no idea what I'm getting the kids this year yet as they have most things already and other than money haven't really given me any ideas either so it is much harder to buy stuff in the sales through the year.

Princesskitty wow doesn't seem possible that wiggle starts school soon hope he's looking forward to it

I will try to get on more often once the kids are back at school

Oh nearly forgot M&S had the tins of shortbread 1/2 price now £5
this year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk

Ooh fabulous, lots of lovely Christmas chatter.

Hope the awols are all ok and just busy with getting ready for back to school. Are you ok FREE?

Still nothing festive here as wrapped up in DH’s birthday and the surprise family dinner but loving the Christmas chat and all the bargain spotting. I did buy two packs of the foil takeaway type containers this week to put away for keeping things warm in at the bottom of the oven when I do Christmas dinner. I’m determined to have everything ready at the same time this year. Dry grateful to MURIE for the tip. I’m clueless in the kitchen it’s amazing we’ve all survived this long.
It's the most wonderful timeof the year :

Thanks for the hints on christmas ranges starting to appear.

Does anyone know if Superdrug usually put their gifts on 3 for 2 at all?

Need 3 gifts similar/same as token gifts and seen a couple of bits I like but don't want to order just yet if they do 3 for 2 :rotfl:
