Good Morning everyone, I am feeling very hapy with the possibility of the good weather that will hopefully grace us this week. I am going to try and do some decluttering this week whilst hubby is away, we are still waiting to sell the house but I need to start going through the junk that we hoard.

Vulpix- Glad you enjoyed your afternoon in school, that is fantastic that you will be going in on Monday afternoons. I bet the children are really looking forward to it.
Murie- Hi, glad to see you xx I started Keto a week ago! I weighed myself on saturday morning and had lost 9lbs. I know that the first week is a lot of water weight loss but I am so happy. Also don't feel hungry and now the first few days are over i am feeling ok. Will keep going as long as I can as I have stones to lose.
MrsI- i too am having a clear out ready for the christmas/house move.
TreasureQueen- So sorry to hear that things have got so bad that you cannot even stay in your home. It seems so unfair that none of the authorities can do anything to help your situation. I am sending you big hugs xx
Peppapig-Glad to hear you and Mr P are doing well. I am the same with Christmas, I keep thinking about it but with us having the house up for sale I just do not know where we would store things without them being on show. I usually box them up on top of our wardrobes.
Stockiebecks- I missed the M&S sale, is it online, will have a look in a minute x
Jakes-mum- Wishing your DD the best of luck in her competition xx

I am up for the weight challenge x Will keep me motivated x
  • Hi all! Just popping in to say hello, I thought I was going to have lots of time on my hands after Christmas to post but then we booked the boys Christening and that seemed to take over my spare time! We had the Christening yesterday and it was a really lovely day, it was nice to to catch up with friends and family. We had it in the village hall so I had to do all of the food and decorations myself which took up a lot of my spare time. It's a really ugly village hall too so I had to try really hard to pretty it up a bit! Anyway now it's over I feel like i've got a new lease of life again so hopefully 'see' you soon. xx

    Afternoon everyone

04624181 I hope you get the results a bit quicker than that, it does sound a ridiculously long time. Hopefully it will show what is wrong and you can be fixed pretty quickly. I bet just when you are least expecting it the right house will jump out at you

VULPIX thankyou for sharing your story about the mammogram, I will definitely not miss it. I am thinking of looking at the Keto diet that MURIE is on, will let you know

MURIE I can see my kids liking a pizza oven, they blooming love them. Well done on your fabulous weight loss, I need to have a nosey at this keto diet

MRSINVISIBLE thankyou for sharing your experience as well, it does help when people are worried about these things. I really admire how you live life to the full my lovely

TREASUREQUEEN I just don't know why people have to be so nasty. Just keep your chin up, you are so much better than them

GETTINGTHEREQUICKLY thankyou for sharing, you must have been so worried, I'm so glad it was a positive outcome and it wont happen again

PEPPAPIG that is good news about your DH, hopefully it wont be too long before he gets his strength back and puts some weight back on. The funniest thing was about the Pandora Charm when I was taking it out of the black velvet bag I saw a bit of red and immediately thought it was a Christmas charm for my Christmas bracelet :rotfl:

yay, lots of people back posting, great stuff.

Treasure queen, chin up babe. I cannot bear a bully. You will have the last laugh with people like that.

Murie I know the type of trees you mean but I have never had one.I should think they would enjoy being planted in the ground even more so than in a pot. I bought a tree a few weeks ago.I think it is a cherry.Shame on me,I can't remember. I have put it in a big pot as i would like to take it with me if we move again.

Mrs I,are you going down the nematode route ? I hear it is very effective.

jakes mum.I hope your daughter enjoys her karate. kick boxing has done wonders for my youngests self confidence.

stokie. What is this left over Easter chocolate of which you speak? Out of my experience I am afraid.

0462 pretty impressive weight loss,I will look into the keto diet,i have never heard of it.If you saw me you would know that me n diets are not well acquainted.

What were your decorations like PK? I do enjoy a nice craft.

So we all seem to be on the same page with wanting to shift a few pounds.I go for a weigh in on Wednesday,I will let you know how I get on.

    Vx

The prosecco toppers are some fruit flavoured mixers like these on the link but I bought them for 75p for a pack (dated middle of next year)

    Prosecco Toppers

Thought they will make a nice little top up gift

    Morning all,

Spent yesterday afternoon and this morning making phone calls trying to get an earlier appointment to see the specialist. NO LUCK! so frustrating! Basically I have got to go and get another sick note to cover me until after the appointment. They cannot tell me the results over the phone and no other appointments.
Vulpix- The keto diet is good I weighed myself this morning and have lost another 1lb. Thats 10lb in 8 days. i know it will slow down now but im absolutely thrilled. Im hoping to get my weight down by at least another 2 stone on this and then start to reintroduce carbs. I do not feel hungry and am not craving food yet. I have been up since 6.30am and have not eaten yet. PM me if I can be of any help.
Stokiebecks- They are a nice idea for a gift, thanks for sharing x
  • Ahh I feel like I can breathe today as Wiggle is back at pre-school and I don’t have to do anything for the Christening! My house is a mess though so trying to get it straight and play with Squeak. I found out yesterday that Wiggle got into our first choice school which is good. Our second choice was probably my favourite school but just out of walking distance, it is the same in terms of teaching and Ofsted etc I just got a nice warm feeling when I was there! But Wiggle’s school is good and we can walk there which is what we wanted. I just can’t believe he’s going in September!

vulpix I had bunting (which I didn’t make), pompoms which I did, jam jars with ribbons tied around and flowers in, pictures in nice photo frames, balloons which we filled with helium ourselves which was actually really easy and much easier than getting a shop to do it! But we did have a lot to blow up then tie to weights etc! Table sprinkles etc. I didn’t do a lot of ‘crafty’ things as such, just a lot of preparing! I also made and decorated all of the cupcakes and main cake.

StokieBecks I have bought some prosecco toppers as one of the presents for my friends birthday, I’m hoping she invites me round for a glass! :D

04624181 I know I say this every time but even when I’ve spent time away from the thread I still remember your user name by heart! :p Sorry I have missed a few pages so I don’t know what is wrong, I hope you are ok and get some answers soon. Well done on the weight loss, great news! Keep up the good work!

Hey PrincessKitty29- I love that you remember my user name xx Your christening sounds lovely with your description of all the decoartions. When you look back at the Christening photos you can remember how you actually made most of it happen. Something wrong with my foot, its been going on 5 months and I have been unable to go into work. Still awaiting diagnosis.

I am resigning myself to the fact that I have to wait until may for my diagnosis appt. It is frustrating but it is even more frustrating having to keep ringing up and getting nowhere. Have told work, they are being great but they want be back as soon as healthily possible so it is frustrating for us all.

Everybody keeps saying they miss my smile and making everybody laugh x Out of all of this it is nice to know what impact you have in the workplace xx
One of DDs fish died today, its the first one to die and she was actually very grown up about it. No tears x
