    Evening Everyone :D

Well I finally have some christmas news! I picked up my very first christmas present in Mr T today, a lego superhero kit reduced from £29 to £23. She does love her Lego so into the christmas stash it has gone.

DH and I started slimfast today after a week doing it on our own where DH lost nearly 4lbs and I lost 1/2 a lb  I know i'm still in my healthy weight but seriously? that is rubbish! :( Having never done any kind of replacement meal type thingy I was not at all prepared for how bloated those bars make you feel! We are currently doing breakfast, replacement bar for lunch and small dinner as my body did not cope well with the sudden removal of food and I was close to passing out by dinner time

hopefully everyone is well, sorry i did read everyones comments but my brain is like a seive these last few days and I cannot retain any information at all :( If anyone is ill or has ill relatives I do hope you/they feel better soon. If you posted good news, I promise I was celebrating with you when I read it and i'm so so sorry I cannot remember what you wrote (darn illness really gets on my nerves sometimes!)

Now as eldest has decided to stay over a mates tonight I think i'm going to talk DH into watching some tv in bed so I can pretend i'm listening and really roll over and pass out :o

Edit: congrats Princesskitty on your duvet bargain, I do love the snowman films as the original was actually the first video (showing my age there) that I ever owned after my sister bought it for me for christmas, I think I was about 5 years old and I monopolised the tv all christmas morning watching it over and over again, amazed by the story :o

Men lose much more than women in early stages, so don't fret. Just consider yourself the tortoise! Wait until you plateau, I gained last week, 1/2lb, but it is the first movement in any direction for 9 weeks, hope this means body is kicking into gear again.

Nothing Christmassy to report, although I have started to think about making the cakes :D

    Hey everyone,

sorry not been on, we received an offer on the house and we have accepted it. Full asking price! We are so happy but also a bit stressed as we have seen nothing we want at all.
Also hubby is working away a lot which makes it hard to organise viewings as I cant drive at the minute.

Sods law that we sold the house on a day when we were putting bunk beds up in my daughters room so upstairs was upside down. I knew it would happen, all the times the house has pristine we havent had an offer and the day we just show our house as a normal home it gets sold.

Christmas is going to be amazing in a new home somewhere
I would love a double fronted house. That is my dream home. So I can cover it in lights.
Hope everybody is ok. Still on my keto but havent weighed again yet. Will try and do it in the morning. EEEK so excited ....
I think I may end up finding things when Im packing like the christmas cards and gifts I have "put in a safe place" :rotfl:

0462 that’s great news about the house. I love double fronted houses too - I’m all about the symmetry lol.

Nothing festive happening here, all energies are being focussed on the garden as this is the first house DH and I have lived in where we can enjoy the garden from the house. Other houses have been Victorian so garden has only been partially visible from one window. Now we finally live somewhere with a full garden view (even if it is a small garden) I want to make the most of it.

Hope everyone is ok. Come back sunshine, I miss you.

Evening everyone, I hope everyone is good, thanks to the ladies who told me not to worry about the mammogram, and MURIE for telling me not to wear deodorant or creams or perfume. I had it yesterday and it really was fine, they were very quick and efficient and it helped not being at the drs or hospital. Nothing is really happening at the moment, my life is pretty non-descript.

CHRISSY I'm glad all the insurance has been sorted out for DD I bet it was a weight off your mind

PRINCESSKITTY You were making lovely memories with wiggle which he will remember in years to come, believe me it goes so fast

KERRI it got to the point of us still having my exs family presents after Christmas after they couldn't be bothered to meet up or make the effort, I donated them to a childrens ward in the end and stopped buying

MRSINVISIBLE I hope you found a good deal on the Echo

04624181 that's fab news about your house selling so quickly, I hope you find something lovely soon

PEPPAPIG I am sitting here with the heating on!!!

  • Thanks for everyone’s encouraging words regarding my situation. It has recently got a lot worse, as council think I’m lying even though I’ve got evidence. feels like they are trying to cover it up and make me look stupid in the process. But I have now got an advocate fighting my corner. All the stress is setting off my CFS and fibromyalgia and mental health. But hopefully something will get done.

04624181 great news about the sale of your house.

On the Christmas front I got a lovely sterling silver necklace reduced from £25.00 to £5.00. I’m going to put it in a velvet lined case and give it to my gran for Christmas. I will put a box of chocolates with it from local artisan shop as I want to support local businesses. And then that’s her finished. She wasn’t keen on the idea of my original food hamper idea even though my Grandad liked it. So I will do him a hamper of all his favourite foods.

Happy birthday to PrincessKitty29! Hope you have a lovely day,
A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.
