It is just over 5.5 km a day so if you are able to run it should be achievable..... I used to run 10 km everyday, sometimes twice and loved every moment - but then developed pain in my joints and discovered that my skeleton is  stopped running and put loads of weight on, so now am walking and healthy eating with the hope of undoing the mess.

It is new years day... tomorrow is another day.

Just being nosey but what are you going to do to achieve your signature aims?

I don’t think I will do the 2018 miles but will certainly try. I am a tennis player so hoping to run round the court lots to get my mileage up :j

People are off to a really good start I see, I only got my pedometer on Sunday and having never used one before and didn't really have time to figure it all out before I set it up and started walking.

Anyway on the 1st I only had time for a brisk circuit of my nearest park then stupidly took the thing off and forgot to put it back on again AND forgot to check it at bedtime before it reset itself for the next day I did do 2980 steps before I took it off so I will claim 1 mile for day 1 = lesson learned.

Day 2 - better but still got lessons to learn - I keep forgetting to note miles down after doing particular walks (post-it notes and pen are now in my handbag and car) but I'm happy to say the I did remember to write down todays totals before I let it shut down for the evening = 9008 steps = 3.55mls
    Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
