  • Indeedy beanie! Fingers crossed.

Lacking motivation at the moment, has to be said, am tired and body clock is all out of sync. 5 hours sleep last night - gads.

Washing load number 4 is on - thankfully its a brisk sunny day and its drying well.

Eggs for brunch - can't wait until we have our own hens again.

Car is being very bizarre - smoke and now no power steering - garage time me thinks.

    Gads indeed.

In more positive news Mr M#S has decided to send me a few discount vouchers for me birthday - isn't that sweet. #binmethinks

Still cannae get in the bank - oh well.

Need to sort the other bank and do either an online shop or something like actually GO shopping. We ran the cupboards down the past few months and whilst we are not oot of anything in particular most stuff is pretty low including, washing powder. That will be using the washing machine then.

Had read somewhere about not using any or substitutes - good thread here on good old MSE. Thanks Miemie for asking our MSE family.

Anyone ever just used nothing? Interesting concept. Not for the muddy stuff of mine mind, just for light freshening up?

    Ponders.

I just use nothing sometimes if we've run out, but then I only use plain washing soda normally. I'm rubbish at removing stains though - we mostly just wear dark clothes and white things just get ruined. No idea what I'm meant to use with our new septic tank!
  • Thanks cheery - this might help this is the first house we've had on the mains.

I think the general rule is little bleach, mild detergents and soaps and in moderation.

Waves hello. Hope the new adventure is cracking.

    Boo indeed beanie. Boo indeed.

Tea from the freezer - infact all meals from the stores. Taken out some chicken and some venison (both reduced) for next few days.

Walked mutts locally - helped DH with some revision stuff - all good.

Posted cards using stamps from who knows when I bought them.

    Happy day campers.
