Super-proud of you on the Big-Girl-Pant-Pulling and resultant OD closing - well done!

Your giant list is terrifying me though. Mind you if I'd had one like that I might have actually got a bit more done today, mightn't I? Hmmmm!

Excellent work there lass on both the list crossing off and overdraft closing! :j :j

Ooh, and painting tables! What colour did you go for? I have a cheery little metal table that has got a rusty top - I need to go at it with the heat gun and then give it a spray paint but putting it off as I don't know what colour to go :rotfl: It's mint green at the minute (kind of) but wilkos don't have that colour paint :rotfl: Also can't decide whether to do the whole lot or just the rusty bit!

    Hmm, will ponder :D

Also need to do some other plant-related tasks today
    - plant out the rest of my raspberry canes
    - plant out the poor willow which I brought from the old house and is patiently waiting in a bundle getting its leaves on
    - plant the fuchsia cuttings I took that I also brought from the old house
    - and the rosemary cuttings, oh dear!
    - and plant some more seeds! Always more seeds! Leeks fell off the potting bench in the plastic greenhouse (oops) so might need to sow some more...

Wish I had your jet lagged energy! :D

Have a happy birthday weekend :D

And, it rained and rained and rained and rained and rained.

And, rained. Its just arrived here after a very unexpectedly sunny birthday weekend. Thanks for all the wishes and hugs and good charming loveliness. It was indeed marvellous.

Paid £150 over to the cc for spends over weekend.

Car is in garage update does not look good.

First aid training tomorrow - free lunch and lift.

DH finished his MSc so had tea out - although we were both knackered.

Starting to get head back into work today.

Oooh in most exciting news - an ice cream machine arrived home as a part of the birthday celebrations - the plug in and go type, come back here's the icecream - man oh man. I made elderflower sorbet using last years cordial stash.

    OH MY.

One litre of lush sorbet for the price of half a bag of sugar and a lemon.

Next up plum, rhubarb, or bramble sorbets as have stashes of these HM cordials in the cupboard.
