so workbooth works fine on the laptop using vista but it doesnt work on my main pc running windows 7,
could it be windows 7 causing the problem ? does anyone here use windows 7 with wb

    thanks

Call tech. They will send you a usb to eth adapter, which is what i'm using.

Stop stressing about it all. There are ppl in there to help with your tech issues. Just login if you can and you will be directed to tech support who will dispatch any equipment you need.

But your best bet is, connect a pc with an eth cable and load your wb cd. Don't try to load it on every pc in the house. Some may have issues.....

I run 7 on a Dell-WB won't run without a ethernet/usb adaptor for me either-Mind you it didn't like my XP machine either without the adaptor-Nothing to do with 7

    Don't worry you'll be fine

  • Im not stressing lol Ive already explained it works on one computer (laptop) the reason why I want it to run on my main pc is because
that is located in my office. Im getting a startech usb to ethernet adaptor today or tommorrow, so that should sort it out.

Also I thought tech would only send out the workbooth disc , they dont seriously send out a free usb-ethernet adaptor do they?

  • Hi,

I have been reading the threads and just wondered, those of you who work for TT do they tend to stress out their staff when you are on a shift servicing the client. It is only because I have read that their expected call time is 6 mins, I 'm sure that there are some calls that run over this time and what happens if you do run over quite abit. I sometimes find that I can talk alot would this go against me?

    :(

Its not 6 mins its around 670 seconds at the minute - which is just over 11mins. Initially it wouldn't be an issue as you're still getting used to the systems etc however you would be expected to bring that time down gradually. If you have problems with doing that the managers are usually more than happy to arrange training and what have you to help you acheive it, plus if you are on a long call (as some calls by their very nature will be long ones) you will usually get pm'd by the duty GK who will offer advise if needed :)
  • Thanks Dory78,

Thats a great help, so maybe I will be OK.
  • I applied with TeleTech earlier today and recieved an email inviting me to schedule an interview. Can anyone give me more info? It said it lasts 2 hours and I am a little worried!

What will it entail? it is a 1 on 1?

    Thanks!
  • Hi everyone,

I'm supposed to be starting training on Monday, and I have only just received my WorkBooth CD. I have tried running the CD, and it seems a bit temperamental. Sometimes it allows me to type in the project code, then goes on to the screen asking for my Hirepoint id and e-mail address. Other times the project code just keeps going in a loop. I have managed to get to the point where I enter my Hirepoint id and e-mail address twice, but on both occasions it just shuts down and spits the CD out. I've tried it on my PC and laptop, and it does this on both. Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem could be and how I can go about fixing it?

    Thanks in advance
