Dont use word 2003 then! Use free libre office.
As a bonus you can photo your sig, on very white paper, and add it to the bottom then convert to PDF inone program.
Examples - maybe do the obvious search? DROP HANDS and search by post, not by thread.0 -
Send them a SAR by email, as the NEWBIES thread suggests (no asking what to send, the NEWBIES thread has a template link).
It will keep VCS busy over Christmas and will show you their hand: all photos, the sign, all PCNs, all NTKs, the lot, and they might struggle, and you will see that the NTKs are non-POFA. And you might also see signs saying 'Excel' on them, in their evidence...
What a shame you paid some.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I also requested a SAR from VCS a few days ago; Should I request to address any new information if necessary?
I used the template modified by loadsofchildren123 on the thread "June 2018 - start of the new PPC and DVLA fightback (GDPR related)" I should receive a response back soon - it was sent 2/11.Coupon-mad wrote: »What a shame you paid some
I agree. It was actually one of the other drivers of the vehicle that realised the trickery and scamming aspect of this case (I wasn't even aware that there were different types of car parks!) and thus our website search began and we found this forum :T

Morning!
SAR data received however it just provides information that was originally sent to RK and some information sent to them. Can a further request be made for more information? Can they charge for further data?0 -
Yes you can demand any missing data. No they can't charge and should have provided all data.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Would an additional 7 days for them to share the missing data be reasonable?0

Keep copies and have a long list of costs if they insist on pursuing you.
This is what I intend to send to them:
I have defended the claim made against me as the registered keeper of vehicle REG
You have no cause of action or any landowner's authority or 'legitimate interest' excuse to proceed, the Beavis case is fully distinguished on all facts and you cannot succeed.
As such, I am making a 'drop hands' offer for you to cease processing the claim and my data, erase the data in a timely fashion and certainly within one calendar month, and confirm the charges are cancelled. If so, I will not pursue my costs and will not counter-claim.
If you continue to proceed, I will counter-claim for not less than £500 for the serious distress caused by your excessive DPA data storage, sharing and misuse, and for harassment under the Protection from Harassment Act.
Please kindly ensure that you acknowledge receipt of this letter.
Yours faithfully
Is this too threatening?0 -
How do yo uintend to counterclaim, when your defence has already been submitted?
Youve missed the boat onthat one.0 -

Thanks.
I guess I misunderstood, I thought they needed to be aware of my defence to prove they had no claim and then continue to send the letter to request they drop hands and if they pursued with the claim then I would have costs ready in court - Guess not! I'm learning0 -

Everything you have said there is fine.
Yes of course you will have your costs schedule ready.
It's just that you are now too late to be threatening a Counterclaim.0
